isn't fresh underwater pumpkins poisonous to children? we were never allowed to carve pumpkins underwater as children for the fear big sis told us! i think she lied to us! can you really eat the dryd seeds? do the seeds give you worms?

Lucky that the groups had warm water to do this in! I'll be doing this tomorrow in the cold waters of the Pacific Northwest (USA) with thick neoprene gloves to hinder my process.

It will also be the first time I participate in an underwater carving contest :)
