Could I ask what is probably a basic question, I have a SNOM 870 and am looking at the 2N. I saw that the calls (when made from the doorphone) didn't start video until answered: I would want to see who is at the door before answering (in case I chose not to answer, that would be the whole point of a video doorphone). Is this possible (the Snom can certainly see the video in advance through the microbrowser)? Thanks for your advice.
@jskyrme Great question. There is a way to have the virtual BLF keys of the 870 be tied to an Action URL that pulls the image stream as shown in the video. This is demonstrated at 3:14 into the video. The phone is not in a call and I pushed a programmable button to make the stream pop up. I have this working all day on my 821. I have a document that can show you how to do this for a single Helios unit. For multiple and rotating streams, a web server is needed. Contact ABP for the specifics!
@matthawaii Thanks! There are several models that range from the really simple single button w/o video camera up to the ones with everything as shown. RFID modules and flush mount kits are add-ons depending on what the user requires. If you're interested in learning more just give ABP a shout- 972-831-1600
Great looking unit! Is this fully compatible (including video) with the PBXNSIP CS410 pbx?
