@OodanithecatoO zim eats the organs not puts them where they are he eats them like puts them in his mouth very disturbing, but when I was little (2,1 or 3 years old) i saw this episode i wasent scared i slept easily, when i found out it was cancelled i cried. I introduced my firend to Invader Zim during a sleepover, and this was the last episode we got to before we went to bed. You can imagine how that went over.

in germany Invader Zim was canceled because the children who watched it to much were hevily disturbed after it (NO JOKE!) e.g look at the ice creme song in ep. 1 and imagine want a little child would thnik after hearing it O.o

@metalltitan Don't talk nonsense. It's true that they say some bad words in the song, but that's not the reason why it was canceled. The Reason were the bad viewer levels, unfortunately. :(

ok ok, but what do u think why none watched it??? in my oppinion it is the very best series ver made about pyscho alien stuff but it isn't very sensible to let little children of 11 - 13 watch it

@metalltitan hm... nickelodeon is for kids, and i think that children are a little bit scared about invader zim. In my opinion, its also one of the best series ever made. Maybe the quotes are that bad in germany because if it's aired, its really late.. now, it's not even aired anymore. So there cannot be quotes, if they don't give it a chancen (on a better time..)

@metalltitan wahrscheinlich weil die sendezeit ziemlich ungünstig war. entweder waren die meisten zu der zeit in der schule/arbeit, oder es war so spät nachts dass es (zwischen teleshopping) auch ungünstig plaziert war. leider ... they've never given zim a chance in germany. :(

This is actually one of my favorite episodes. I never got what the big deal was. I've seen things more disturbing than this on Spongebob! XD

@mistyshecat Exactly! Spongebob twisted and disturbing images in it (just look at Skodeward), stuff that can give any young child nightmares, while Nick overreacted with Invader Zim being 'dark and violent'

@DemigodsRule1999 Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Invader Zim, but you have to admit some episodes and images were really disturbing, especially for little kids! I don't see anything wrong with SpongeBob though, Skodeward and Spengbab were, I believe, NOT made by the creators of it.

@mistyshecat True that! I used to love spongebob but now...its just...exactly how DemigodsRule1999 put it, twisted and disturbing! Dark Harvest was the first Ivader Zim episode that I ever saw,I wish that it wasn't. It turned me off when I was 5. Now I came back to watch it at 13 and realized how much i've missed!

@MetaFumu218 Spongebob is also disturbing because they show the characters naked and showing their butt (hopefully they don't show their pe-- I mean uhh Squeedilly Spooch) Invader Zim never showed that kind of stuff.

I can imagine how afraid the children were after this episode was aired. They probably were afraid to sleep because they probably thought Zim would do something to their organs.

@jamesrogersfilms Show never got "banned" as far as I know. It got canceled, but they still show the re-runs on Nicktoons network, last I checked.

@jamesrogersfilms Yeah, I doubt that's the reason. There were many more episodes after that. Actually there are a few reasons it got pulled from the air. One being that Jhonen said that it was just about time to cancel the show (not sure if that's true or not though). And it didn't get that good ratings because they put it early in the day instead of later (later being when more mature viewers watched TV) so instead of moving it to a later time, they just decided to cancel it. I hate Nickelodeon

@jamesrogersfilms This IS one creepy episode. But it is about as creepy as the halloween special. I think it is one of the erasons the show was banned. But you should also think if this was the reason why did Nickelodeon let Jhonen put the episode on.
