After the successful Lunar Module design Grumman was supposed to get the Space Shuttle contract but they got jiffed by Rockwell.
I know an oldtimer engineer coworker who worked with some of the Lunar Module engineers at the Grumman plant in New York. They still have tremendous pride in their achievement.
@FantasticBob7000 Thanks for your comment. You're absolutely right. We had a terrific time filming in Bethpage, in no small part thanks to the LM veterans who've maintained a small museum in a corner of the plant. Their back-of-the-envelope solutions to the LM's weight problems remain a point of pride nearly five decades later, and rightly so.
@predatortheme Wonderful. Now find me one transcript, video of the anots balancing their pencil before trying to launch it?
NOT ONE. All loadmasters laugh at Apollo once they realize another of the hundreds, and thousands of anomolies which prove Apollo nothing more than a huge tax fraud, and mind fuck!
@un4g1v3n1 How mindfucked and stupid are you the fuck? We live in the 21st century.. Open your fucking eyes for a second and struggle out of your fucking hole and experience the world you dumb bastard.. Stop living under a rock and puking youtube full of your hoax bullshit.... people like you belong into the middleage with that mental understanding... "excuse me for my English mistakes. It isnt my primary language. but good enough to insult you properly".
@stalkervision there are plenty of unedited films the LLRV flights at Dryden, go look them up. 3/5 of them crashed early in the program. Armstrong was the only guy to ever master the LLRV and he even crashed / ejected once.
Return of the Surveyor-3 camera to Earth by Apollo 12
800+ lbs of Moon Rocks brought back
LRO photographs from US, Japan, India and China showing the LM's and the astronauts Footprints at all the landing sites.
enough with all YOUR stories and speculation. try to disprove the short list of supporting facts I just gave you. Who knows maybe you'll learn something in the process.
@1MtnBoy IOf the moon lander barely could stand its 1/6 weight of the moon to its wafer thin body how did it withstand the 18G lift off in the saturn rocket?
@websuspect first off the launch was only 4 g's who told you it was 18 ? You would black out at 10 g's.
Saturn V was called the "old man's" rocket compared to the Redstone & Atlas that were about 7-8 G's at launch.
second, the LM frame & landing legs could easily support it's own weight as demonstrated by the punishing landing gear testing performed by Northrop-Grumman & Bendix during the "honeycomb-cell" design phase.
@TheSpiritof1969 LMAO, telling is one thing, providing proof is another all together. It would be naive to declare that in view of all the supporting data that was recorded. It's awfully difficult to prove a motive and find a hole to punch n the radar data. there arent any discrepancies.
@TheSpiritof1969 I know, everyone is an expert as long as its just opinions, as soon as you state a contradicting fact or ask for objective proof the smoke screen disappears, LMAO
@neverastriaghtanswer this video shows parts of the LLRV training flights. there is nothing to support a hoax theory in this footage ( or anywhere else for that matter ).

Ill just stop it. since people like you cannot be helped

@predatortheme You are the one beyond help. Do you still believe in Santa Claus as well?

People are out of their minds believing Armstrong landed that flimsy, WAFER THIN walled craft on the moon.

@un4g1v3n1 Well You forget that balancing a pen in 1/6 gravity is Way easier then balancing a pen on earth gravity..

@predatortheme How predictable! Is that all you PAN's have in your arsenal? Insults? You are an insult to intelligence and logic!
Go back to sleep, your government never lies, and no one conspires to steal from taxpayers. Put your trust in the NAZI's of NASA. Dumb ass...

In case of the least problem, it was degenerating very fast and ending in a crash.
And the conditions in which the LLRV was tested have nothing to do with the conditions in which the LM had to land on the moon.

Espectacular ejection!!
Just one second before the impact. See 2:26 - 2:27...

3 little facts to chew on hoaxer's:
Return of the Surveyor-3 camera to Earth by Apollo 12
800+ lbs of Moon Rocks brought back
LRO photographs from US, Japan, India and China showing the LM's and the astronauts Footprints at all the landing sites.
enough with all YOUR stories and speculation. try to disprove the short list of supporting facts I just gave you. Who knows maybe you'll learn something in the process.

@websuspect Don't try using that logic shit on these PAN trolls. They are beyond logic...

@un4g1v3n1
completely agree, logic is completely alien to them.
I wonder if they have even heard about this marvelous science that logic is!

That is easy, the hoaxies will tell you that Russia, China and all the other budding space countries were in on the hoax.

It amazes me how little the hoaxies know about the manned space programs in Russia and the US and they still sing the flags and wires rubbish.
