  • Dear God Trey straight kills it. His tone is amazing. Hail.

  • @ClovisYutz thats awesome. im making it a mission to find that.

  • @darkmessengerix Pirate Bay: Search Phish Live 14...Enjoi!

  • Twas lucky enough to be at this show. Thanks for uploading. Wow does Trey flex this! Insane night....Real psychedelic!

  • Love Trey's shirt!

  • :24 your not ready to leave trey haha

  • Shear volume of cacophany does not constitute shredding.

  • what is up with the haters!?

phish is def not for everyone, but you can't deny trey's skillz. (this Who cover is but a sliver).

prime trey shreds like no other. to say otherwise is dumb, really.

  • @barrmark99 thanks for uploading this i don't care if it's a video of a video of a video a video of a video of a video a video of a video of a video; you took the time to upload it and that's what matters.

  • Shockingly bad. Go and find a good band to idolise. The ultimate in cover bands, unable to write or play their own stuff.

  • @engineroomapocalypse Unable to write or play their own stuff? Thats laughable.

  • @engineroomapocalypse Sounds like you've never actually listened to Phish before... Good one...

  • @migbee I try not to.

  • @engineroomapocalypse Holy shit dude, your band sucks. Just saying.

  • @migbee That's OK so does Phish

  • @engineroomapocalypse Keep chasing the dream, maaaaaan

  • i know dave grippo ;)

  • when they take this idea and do it 3Dtechnology it will change our concept of concerts forever. good bad and ugly

  • I was there

  • good stuff right here i love all you people out there enjoying this

  • i know this was broadcast at festival 8, but did they show all of halloween 95 or just highlights of the various halloweens?

  • Wow. Can't believe there's video. I'm old school, I never thought I'd ever actually see video of this. What a nice surprise. Thanks.

  • Wow. This IS NOT SHREDDING. This is what a teenager does when they totally know how to play a few notes a bunch. This band has built a fan base of people who can't recognize BAD MUSIC. Poop.

  • @joshuaklind WOW your a little ignorant!

  • @cerqs76 Seems your grammer is as bad as your taste.

  • @joshuaklind ... and as bad as you're spelling.

  • @punk137ya ... I fucked up - I meant the spelling comment for the dolt who, while criticizing other's taste, points out "grammer" errors. What a fucking choad!

  • Pretty Lame really.

Phishs Quadrophenia is like going to see high school musical

    A fake.

  • @engineroomapocalypse Until you're a better guitarist than Trey, and have a better band than Phish, you should shut the fuck up.

  • @Forb1n95 I probably am actually a better guitarist, so you can shut the fuck up yourself. Phish make a good band for a bunch of accountants. Shocking rendition of Quadrophenia. The Who with sandals and beards

  • Out of my brain on the 5:15

  • i want a trey bobble head. i need one after seeing this

  • While there's no general point in their career that I'm not impressed with, this time particular frame nearly encased their overall meaning as a band. It was their 'prime' if you will, IMO.

  • from what i remember of this show, it was awesome

  • anything's better than playing their own music !!!!

  • @mineheadX1 ... You have no musical appreciation, and you're a Douche!

  • I was in the 11th row at Rosemont on Halloween (when they did Quadrophenia) and I will never forget Fishman downing that bottle of Jim Beam. Awesome concert.

  • I was lucky enough to have been at the Rosemont that cold, wet, magical night. Unbelievable music, costumes, and liquid, oh my. It was thoroughly crazy!

(Btw, I highly recommend another smokin' show from that run, Louisville, 10/29/95. It can be found on etree.)

  • there was about a month after 8 a whole bunch of videos of this recording of the video archives showing. does anyone possibly have these links?

  • I'd love to see more of their covers of Quadruphenia.

  • Somewhere between 1min and 1:35, my face melted. that was f***ing tight

  • This camcorder looks to good to be around in 1995 did you time travel?

  • This is what true shredding sounds like, not that mad fast trembolo picking, sweeping or two-hand tapping that is treating music as a sport, not an art form. Just my opinion. Hendrix said he had a band of gypsy's, Phish is a band of Jedi's :)

  • @MarcoGreenberg Well said.

  • 1st show...very few vids around so thank you

  • shredding indeed

  • I was the only person in my whole section that was dancing when they played this. People were sitting down for the whole Who set.....weird...

  • One of my fave solo's ever, in my favorite show of all time! Epic!

  • @ClovisYutz very easy to find, legally or otherwise. Date (obv) was 10/31/95 and it was commercially released as Live Phish 14.

  • @barrmark99 My god, I never knew there was a Live Phish 13, 12, 11 or 10. I stopped at Live Phish III....

  • @barrmark99 Any pointers on the ahem... otherwise? Will be grateful to you :)

  • @barrmark99 Love your (obv) because we love those Halloween covers! Glens Falls The White Album was fn outrageous! Kept seeing Thing 1 & Thing 2 running about the place.... ha ha the good old days!

  • trey's not a hippy

  • Comment removed

  • Trey never claimed to be a hippy, dude. Put down your bong. This was my first show. Truly amazing.

  • I agree with you about trey I said it in response to an earlier comment "who says hippies can't shred"

I am most certainly not putting down my bong!

  • Quadrophinia is a monster double album and its nice to see bands paying tribute to such a fine band such as The Who and their 1973 masterwork.

  • That was badass! I can't stop listening to it.

  • whats goin on here? this is clearly footage from the concert... where did this take place, was this a watching party or something?

  • @jrosenr

This was from footage that was shown at the Phish festival this past Halloween (10/31/09). They had a big video screen that showed footage from classic Phish concerts, such as 10/31/95.

  • YES

  • I think as far as drugs, sex, and rock and roll goes for Phish, they can use a little more sex, a lot less drugs and always more ROCK AND ROLL. The Who! Woot!

  • @riethc right on man!

  • Who says hippies can't rock? That was great!

  • Dude...dude. DAMN.
