I would prefer if they changed the villagers pose, so their hands aren't always in there robe pockets, and added functionality that they actually would gather material, and trade with you and other players and build structures instead of just walk around and stare at you when you walk by, as if you're some kind of alien. Ocelot's does not seem very attractive unless your a cat lover I suppose.

@terrarian56 They are working on them, it's just that there is going to be A LOT going into them. Notch had big plans for villages, but doing some tweaks on animals sorta gives them a feel and a test run on what they might be like. Rather test out smart AI first instead of hoping it throwing it in and hoping it works.

I really wished they would do something with villagers. Someone a long time ago mentioned that villagers would be good for trading and buying services and such, but also mentioned that they may hire you for quests if you choose to do so. I would really like to see this happen.
