this is essentially a metaphor for a different way of depicting a war. The fat guy does represent a politician, because all they do is sit in an office all day and grow fat, while the cheerleaders are people are pro-war, or just blind to the realities of war. the crazy guy is supposed to represent the long term effects of a war. there is a large amount of symbolism within this song, which is all implied and spoken through the lyrics and the video.
