i found an 09 ego in a storm drain and it was missing half the screws, the grips, barrel, bolt, board, so it was basically the shell. Everything i put into it to make it complete only cost me 800$ so i saved a lot form buying a new one, it still smells like sewer tho so i hang an air freshner off the barrel

The ego is yes.. a fragile gun, due to its thin,light design. However eclipse knew this, and made the frame the way they did. Its a very common problem for people who do dives, eclipse almost always replaces the frame bc they know its going to happen. However by hitting the thing with a hammer just voided the warranty.

we used the hammer to try to bend it back in place.. it defiantly did not avoid the warranty to hit it with the hammer because we got it fixed for free
