Edwards is still VERY MUCH in the running. Only 4 states have voted. Edwards is the only cndidate who OPPOSES NAFTA, to better protect American workers. And unless you and your family have really great, inexpensive healthcare, you'd better hope Edwards IS elected.

In fairness to Mr Edwards, he displayed now-uncommon sense recognition of reality--taking the will of the electorate over his personal ambitions.
1 What else is a candidate who fails to win a single state, not even the one he was born in.
2 Mr Edwards has millions, but they may not be as much as what Mr Romney has, and he obviously is unwilling to spend his own money on his own ambition.

Even if he doesn't win, that doesn't mean his ideas can't be potentially influential. Edwards has enough delegates right now where he may have significant influence at the convention. I say just support the candidate you like the best, and see what happens. I'll support Gravel regardless of how others are voting because I simply like his ideas the best.

There are 45 primaries to go. This race is wide open. No candidate is near the 2025 Delegates needed. In '04, we knew John Edwards was the best candidate, but we threw ourselves into campaigning for Kerry after he won the nomination, telling ourselves it would help our daughter's generation have a better future. The experience left us physically, emotionally and financially exhausted,& very disillusioned. We are NOT doing that again! Go for it, John Edwards!...We're behind you all the way!!

In my opionion, he seems to be a pretty bright guy: he just needs a chance to prove himself. Maybe Obama for Pres. and Edwards for VP wouldn't be such a bad idea, seeing as they agree on many ideas!

I like Obama, but I have concerns - did you read the Huffington Post article (1/23/08) about Obama having more extensive ties to Rezko than he admitted?

Edwards is still VERY MUCH in the running. Only 4 states have voted. Edwards is the only cndidate who OPPOSES NAFTA, to better protect American workers. And unless you and your family have really great, inexpensive healthcare, you'd better hope Edwards IS elected.

I like Edwards, but it is really unlikely that he is going to win and the votes that he gets would most likely go to Obama if he was not there. If Edwards really wants change he should endorse Obama to make sure Hillary is not nominated. Hillary is so connected to so many industries from being in politics for all these years you can't expect that she will aggressively change things in Washington.

You know how Edwards affords his 28000 sq. ft. house? Malpractice lawsuits. For those of you who don't know, that means he sued doctors for a living. Doctors give their time to helping people, people like Edwards give their time to making money. Well done,John. vote Edwards '08!

Do you even know what a malpractice lawsuit is? No, seriously...do you? It's basically when docters F up. If my doctor who is supposed to be doing surgery on me messes up because he had a blood alchohol level of .09 ....you're damn right I'm gonna call a lawyer just like John to sue him. That's what John did...but you know...he did many other cases to make his living. The fact that he came from humble beginnings and is not very wealthy is worth recognition.
