actually scratch what i said before, i can't get it close to what his dhol sounds like lol. and after trying and trying and trying some more, i simply gave up and decided to get the nut/bolt system for my treble.

lol it depends on how u tighten it too... try tightenin the dhol like a tabla.. look it up on google if u dont kno how... this will give ur dhol tat high pitch tat u get from the nut/bolts... after put ur dhol in sun... this will help ur dagga side sound better... i did this in india nd it worked out well

actually there are people that would go to extremes to have a dhol that sounds this good. i just built my own dbl-roped dhol (im only 15 so it was sort of an accomplishment lol) and after about a week, i managed to just get it CLOSE to what raju's dhol sound like. it sounds very traditional...and amazing. btw that break he starts at 2:48 is sick lol
