It's good to see this movement gaining momentum. Nothing makes folk think, remember, problem solve & stay engaged in the moment more than the out of doors. It's as if we evolved over generations to interface with the environment as a means to gather info & increase awareness & intellect.....hmmmmmm. Nah, I'm sure drugging kids in to submission for a uniform and standardized testing regimen is the more organic approach is more effective (sarcasm) They even call the intensity of curriclum RIGOR!
I am so in love with the outdoor education field and graduating with a degree in OE and Environmental Ed. in May! It is pretty much the best job ever!

lol, its funny that all apples have stickers.
I was just thinking we should teach kids how to make a bow n' arrow, or a poison blow dart to take down a large animal.
Also of course, ethics...So they don't use slingshots and spit wads, or poison darts for that matter, on each other.

I would soo be up to (permanently) go to a school like this. Honestly, who learns with stale air and textbooks? BORING.
