Make sure you Back away from the locations and wait long enough for the Kryll to completely disappear. Wait 45 seconds between shooting the genny. It took a bit but it worked for me

as a note, the sword doesnt always show up in that order, its sort of random until you find the first, and even then it still may not show up at all for a few tries.
