Look in your border state restaurants. Most cooks are not legal. They speak patchy English at best. I worked in restaurants for years seeing cooks get paid $15 - $20 per hour, and watched the Government agency come in and half of the cooks didn't come to work the next day. Not every illegal works in the fields or construction... many Americans would love to have that job!!!

I would rather exercise my right to free speech find out how many people feel the same way on different issues and in some way be heard by the candidates. I don't have a camcorder yet. The thing is that the whole shipping them back to the boarder just hasn't worked at all well. The republicans that you like so much wont do this, they're to busy hiring them. I take a more balanced stance give them jobs UNLESS they serriously start under mining the US job market than something will have to serriously be done here. Their needs to be a sort of checks and balances that our system claims to have but just doesn't.

I have many friends who are legal immigrants. One of my friends job was lost to 3 illegal aliens and he is a legal Mexican immigrant. There are potentially millions of jobs in everything from construction to cabdrivers.OH by the way maybe Hawaii is different but hotel jobs are not as low paying as you think. and child care how much do you pay for child care?We might be looking at 15 million more people paying taxes instead of being on the dole. This is a lot more serious than you think.
