The design may well have been channelled, but it was most definitely not anything other than mad-made. Don't believe me? Go to 0:20 and pause. At the serpent head, the line that runs along the body of the serpent curls around to meet the right-most tip of the side of the head. But not in a true arc. It's gone wonky. Wonkiness wasn't the original circlemakers' forte. Love to everyone!
