Question to ask, are you concern with how your hair is shape when its back into its natural state? I do want to shape my flat iron hair but worried it my look funny in its natural state.

I do know one peron who cut bangs on stright hair but looked super funny when natural, this could be that she did not cut it properly or to short as natural hair shrink up.

@NaturalCanadian My curl pattern is looser in the back and always hangs lower than the rest of my hair. It'll probably be more noticeable with the cut, but I'm used to it. I'm not concerned.

If I didnt know any better I would think it was a wig J/K :) it's soooooo pretty and the color is flawless. I want to straighten mind but I want to use the Maxi glide. have you tried that curling iron yet? (flat Iron) with the steam..

@bahamianbroad Yup. My hair is blown out. I remember saying that I would NEVER get a blow out again, but I'm learning to never say never! I think blow outs use a TON of heat, but I can't knock the results. I'm just not concerned with heat damage at this stage of my journey, cuz scissors don't scare me. If you are someone who worries about heat damage and is working to reach a certain length, I would not recommend a blow out.

You hair looks nice..thanks for sharing! My hair actually grows layer-like & in the v shape and it is getting on my nerves..lol...so I plan to cut it to make it a bit more even. I don't want to have shorter hair esp with shrinkage but I figure it will grow back.

@mcgeechevelle My hair naturally grows in the V as well. The stylist just enhanced the layers. And like you said, hair grows back so I say enjoy your hair any way you like while you can.

looks great. my hair is cut the same way. my only issue is when i wear it curly, the layers give me hair a flat look at the back since it was cut while straight.
