why do you put your fingers up on the top at random times?

There's a lever on each string that changes the pitch of the string kind of like a black key on a piano. I think.

Yes, thats right. The levers change each note to sharp, flat or natural.

This has got to be my favorite song on the harp. After all it was the first song I've ever heard on the celtic harp (: I've tried playing the song by ear and staring at the video for example but i just cant get it completely :\ Is there any possible way i could get sheet music for this? Old gothic / bohemian harps were originally made with bray pins at the bottom of each string that vibrated against the string. Your harp and playing sound beautiful. I was just wondering if the pins were a part of that, but since they give a bit harsher sound, it makes sense that yours doesnt have them.
