It has a Charger for the Battery in the system. We were able to take hundreds of pictures with this unit without requiring a charge. It's easy to hook up and doesn't take forever to charge up!

You'll love this camera, it takes some great shots (the photographer of course!) and the moment from turning on the camera to taking a shot will surprise you. Don't forget to order memory as it ships with a paltry 12mb but 2GB are relativly inexpensive.
