The Stranger is definately one that'll make you think. First semester my AP English class read both The Stranger and Tuesdays with Morrie to compare "life philosophies and such", and out of the two, The Stranger had much more of an impact on me.

The Stranger is a masterpiece. Albert Camus was absolutely brilliant; I adore his work. I'd recommend The Fall, which is also by him. I finished it a few days ago, and really liked it. None of my friends have ever heard of Camus, so it's really nice to see people my age who love him too!
