@ chescaleigh? have you got a tut on how you did this.. i kinda have an idea but not so sure, as i am new on after effects, is there any motion tracking involved?

@passi0602 i only used motion tracking for the eyes because my face moved a bit. for everything else i used masks and adjustment layers. so for the black and white part i layered the footage. color on top, black and white underneath. then i made a moving mask that revealed the black and white footage. i did the same thing for the pixelated part. for the big butt and slimming i used a warp adjustment layer

@passi0602 i'll send you a link to a great after effects tutorial site. i learned most of my "tricks" just from simple google searches and scouring online forums. i took one after effects class in college but never used real footage. all the work i did in class was creating animations with illustrator files. which is basically what i did in my kanye video but with a large layered photoshop file

@Mspraisegirl1 i worked as a photo editor at a model agency in college and was frustrated by how fake the images were and how damaging those effects are to women's self esteem. i've also worked for a global makeup company and they also used a lot of photo editing to misrepresent their models and products. it just inspired me to make fun of it and remind people that what you see in print and on tv isn't always real
