In Canada and the US, the populations in the Northwest has expanded so much the bears are totally used to people. If a jogger or bicyclist surprises a mama bear or gets in between her and the cubs accidentally, she just rips their head off. It's simple. Tourists walk too close, same thing. Hope you like being mauled for a photo on your blog, dummy.

@kern0099 Here in Romania bears got used with the people for decades and inside the city bears do not atack becouse they know they will meat people but if you surprise one of the in the mountain they will atack becouse bears do not like surprices...

very beautiful city Brasov, the problem with bears is the mentality of people who feed them for the "show", and sometimes there are awful results.

Well it seems like a nice show to watch, but every single year a few people die in these areas because they are getting too close.They also feed the bears, encouraging them to come back for some more.

The biggest problem is that the authorities have no clue(or they simply dont care)how to solve this situation.Because in the end, its not the bears who invaded the town, is more like us that invaded the forest by extending the city, leaving the bears without many choices in feeding themselves.

Depending on the bear, but grizzly's are more aggressive and animals have there own personality. An aggressive Grizzly could show up and them people aren't going to be able to out run it. They move faster than people think. A mother bear with cubs isn't a good idea to get too close too either. Black bears are less agressive, but even a black bear with cubs can be dangerous.

Cute but why not Leave them somthing more healthy to eat and bears dont attack unless you try to steal their cubs like most people do in the states. People get attacked because the steal the cub and the mother hunts them down. People like to sell them as pets in the underground in USa and don't like Karmabiting them in the ass.
