Darlene Love is a gorgeous woman with so many God given talents. Thank you for this interview. I believe she is 70 but looks 25. Such a vivacious woman with professionalism and class! Yes, indeed, her records are still being played and purchased! I recently bought one new old stock 45 CHRISTMAS (BABY PLEASE COME HOME) for $50 and considered that a fair price! She and Ronnie (Spector) and many others in those wonderful girls' groups deserve their royalties. Thanka again!

I have loved this lady since the beginning of time.

In the UK she is virtually unknown for some reason. "He's a rebel" missed out over here, and Spector ripped her off as she recorded under different names. Did she do every voice on "Rebel?" That record faded out way too early for me, and should have gone on for at least another minute, like so many great records of those days

To gusandspud, Hi ! my understanding is Darleen Love ( real name Wright ) sang the lead on He's a Rebal, she and younger sister Edna Wright sang the background ! Edna is the lead singer of the group Honey Cone ! check Edna out on YouTube ! I think Edna & Darleen sound very much alike ! HAVE FUN.......
