I bowled against Ryan Shafer this past tuesday(Crystal Lanes in Corning Ny)! Great time and Im very proud to say i tied him for match play inn our 5 man squad. Tied with 1.5 points a piece. lost my first game to him pretty big haha 258-194, came back 2nd game and tied him with a 279, and then beat him 227-223. Awesome experience
i dont quite understand pro bowling.. it seems that u just have to perfect the right technique and do it every time, strike after strike after strike. its the first to not get a strike that loses lol first one to make a mistake i guess
I thought that too. But when u play long enough, u find out that it takes a lot more than just knowing how to throw the ball. It's about regularity, and it takes a lot a concentration and mastering to try always throw it right, during a whole professional career :)
it's not only regularity .. you may be throwing the very same shot everytimes, and end up with some bad games.. it's TOO, about reading the lanes and adjusting to them .. sometimes it's easy and you get the right move first try, and sometimes.. it's not..

if i am correct they are both using the old angular one. thats impressive and shows that old balls can still dish out the pain

Actually Jones used the Ebonite Game Breaker and Smashtime, but you were right about Delutz.
