same spec of iphone 4 but x5 times lower price + symbian belle which gives u customization, 6 home screens, usb-on-the-go, nfc,blutooth file share,mp3 support, animated background. than that boooooooooring ios in which u cant put a single contact or shortcuts on it's homescreen. nokia 700 ows IPHONE 4!!

For smartphone users Nokia has decided to work with MS. I tried Nokia Lumia 800 yesterday, it was better than I was expecting, but it does not work well if you don't care about facebook, twitter etc etc, Windowsphone 7.5 seems to be married with social networking...

@bobpraker I'd say 700 :) it's newer, it has a 1Ghz processor and has belle out of the box. Additionally it has a very comfortable glass screen and a colour rich amoled screen.

@Borgdatanode how about the battery life? it's a smartphone and i would assume that the battery life is not that good but i have a 2 year old 5800 and the last for 3 - 4 days with heavy use. that's why i'm having the nokia 500 as a second option :)

@bobpraker Sry I was wrong the 500 DOES have a 1Ghz cpu:) what comes to battery the 500 packs a little bit more 1110mAh compared to 1080mAh of the nokia 700... I think you wouldn't notice the difference between them :)

@Borgdatanode I think they are so similar it comes down to how it feels in the hand, does it feel natural to use it. So test them out take the one that feels better! But if you choose the 500 then you won't have NFC and you will probably have to wait a while for the belle update. (if it hasn't come out yet ;) you better ask from the seller...

@bobpraker I don't know about battery life but I'd guess that it would last -at least- a day (heavy use: couple hours of games and browsing and txting per day) Yes this is true the 700 is smooth and 500 is less so, but I think the belle update should fix that! But the 700 performs better in games...

@Borgdatanode if you're afraid of the battery you can always buy an emergency charger, they are cheap and small and some of them even give 5 full charges for the 700 (the 700 battery= 1080mAh, the charger= 5000mAh)

@Dexpend I have to agree. The 700 sells for $319 here in the States, when it should be selling for no more than US $225-250. For the same amount of money, I can buy an Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray, which looks as nice (if not better), runs Android 2.3, has a slightly larger screen, and has an autofocus camera with the Exmor R backlit image sensor!

I do agree that some things were taken, but it's not a rip-off by any means, let alone from HTC Sense. It took some parts from different OS'es/skins for OS'es and plunched it on top of Symbian. Definetly don't bad :) Although I still don't like Symbian, but that's personal.
