By the way, heroism doesn't really include getting on a billboard and pasting your particular opinion on it. The worst that can happen is you might be arrested. You'd be arrested for drunk driving too. I suppose one could look at any law breaker as a hero but the only risk they take is a fine or jail time. If the US government was so totalitarian and evil, ask yourself, why don't they go after any blogger or conspiratorialist who rants against it?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Because this bunch are nothing but whelps. Full of ideals, but void of ideas. Once they get off mommy and daddy's teat, get their professors voices out of their heads and get into the real world, they may actually be interested in details vs. bumper stickers, actuality vs. half baked conspiracies.
I'll give them this much credit, at least they aren't whiney little Libs, going on about Global Warming and the Black Bellied, One Eyed gopher-fish about to be extinct in a NNE Guatemalian puddle.
"If we had competent leadership to begin with, 9/11 wouldn't have happened...sorry, facts are facts..." Hmm, so right. I'm sure the 9/11 terrorists planned and perfected their strategy only after the uber-competent and internationally savvy President Clinton was out of office. Sometimes it's necessary to venture outside of your narrow worldview and see that we're hated no matter who is in charge. Remember, this was planned to occur no matter who was president. Al Gore would have faced the same.
Good Point... ...except Bushco was warned that the attack was pending and ignored it. After being warned of imminent attack on US soil president Bush replied to the person briefing him, "OK, you've covered your ass, you can go now."
That was the sum total of Bush's pre-9/11 prevention strategy. Maybe Al Gore would not have done better, but we know he could not have done worse.
bigbadbrat: sounds like you have some inside info on this - how else would you know "this was planned to occur no matter who was president"? You know, your 'heroes', the NSA, are most definitely monitoring this video/thread so you better watch what you say!

If you cant understand that your rights are not infinite, and end where anothers begins, there is no help for you. When you get older maybe you will understand.
If I was going for a reaction I would tell you that your tactics of nastiness, obscenities and demeaning attitude towards my opinion have more in common with Hitler's Nazi's than our founding fathers. Read a little about the "National Socialist" strategy. You are really either anarchists or hypocrites. Pick one.
Of course AT&T could have done what some other telecoms did and refused to provide information without a warrant. And if "catching the bad guys" really is priority number one, why does Bush refuse to pass legislation that doesn't include immunity? AT&T had to do what they did to protect American lives, but it's ok for American lives to be sacrificed by delaying a new FISA law if AT&T is in danger of being sued? And why do you need immunity if you aren't breaking the law? So many questions...
This comment has received too many negative votesshow

Apparently you don't know what fascism is, sir. Fascism evolves from conservative forms of government, socialism from liberals. I'm sorry that you've failed. Good day.
Sounds like someone needs to read Jonah Goldberg's "Liberal Fascism". "Today, liberals remember the progressives as do-gooders who ... agitated for a more generous welfare state and better working conditions. Fine, the progressives did that. But so did the Nazis and the Italian fascists ... Fascism, at its core, is the view that every nook and cranny of society should work together in spiritual union toward the same goals overseen by the state."
Goldberg (2): "liberals use the word 'fascist' to describe anything outside the control of the state ... [But] Mussolini coined the word 'totalitarian' to describe not a tyrannical society but a humane one in which everyone is taken care of and contributes equally. It was an organic concept in which every class, every individual, was part of the larger whole." Goldberg reminds us of "the fascist motto: if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem."

Power to the Proletariat!!! AWESOME display of really dissin' the evil usa (gotta put in lower case cause it
s so evil)! I only hope the freedom fighters in the Middle East get the last laugh and show a few of us who's boss!!! Whoop!!!! Palestine 4-EVER!!! Allahu akbar.
I know you're doing this for reaction... but only a pussy would cheer on the lessening of our ideals and right in the lame hope to catch one or two possible bad guys.Go back to Pussystan where the government will decide what you say and monitor where you say it. Please never touch a Constitution, because it would explode into flames upon your touch (or more likely you'd burn as if it were holy water.) Have a nice day, loser.

Is there an address where one of these improved billboards might be found? I live in SF and would like to see one, although the AT&T shitcocks have probably all "fixed" them by now.

Cool! I need to switch to AT&T if they're helping to get the bad guys...oops! Sorry! Lost my head in a temporary realism trip...Bad AT&T for helping the evil US government! Long live the Proletariat, the Intifadeh, and Iran!!!
bigbaddbrad 4 years ago
If you dislike the 4th amendment so much, move to a country that doesn't have a constitution. In China, for example, the government both monitors and filters the Internet. You'd love it.
temujin1234 4 years ago 6
Baaaaah, Baaaaah. Go back to watching Fox News and let us admire this brilliance as it should be admired.

I'm sure you want AT&T to pass on the kiddie pr0n you've been downloadin'. I'm sure you'll be mewling 4th Amendment then then you get Gitmo'd
