Debussy was a master of the unorthodox. His ability to force you to imagine something and take you to a place you have never been before in your mind. Like a dark forest at night and dance with nymphs is a sure sign of genius.
I find it amazing how there are so many similarities within a composers many pieces! I'm makign this comment at the very beginning of the video....but the repeated flute line at the beginning and through 1:10 brings me back to Premiere Rhapsodie for clarinet.
Wonderful job--good choice of images. (You might consider adding Delville's remarkable "Treasures of Satan" to the mix--painted around the same time this was composed!)
this is a very peacefull selction of music..and i really like it because u can tell that it has a story behind it.! :)
