Hey sptsupersprinter156, thank you so much for replying yea the that's wat the lorrys r doing, there working round the clock tho and staying in the premises. Is there anyway I can private message u at all... Thanx x
We have also been in the grounds recently and EOS electrical oil lorrys r in pumping the oil out aswell, it's very sad that this place is just going to be forgotten!!
I WISH WE COULD ALL SAVE IT SOME HOW!! Protest or something!!
One of the switchgear corridors is live. I think it powers the core systems and is the reason why you can still switch a lot of the lights on in that place.
As you can see in some of the photos, some of the buttons on the control panels are still lit. There's also still the electricity buzzing around and the dehumidifiers keeping the equipment dry. It's still a very 'alive' place.
Excellent I Visited the station in 2002 To canbalise parts from it, It seems unbelievable something this size was mothballed this way, you only know this by seeing it for yourself, great to see this video I'm well impressed well done you obviously have a soft spot for it I certainly do, hate to see it go!!
Thanks for your comment. These are my visits from Summer 2009 and I only had a compact camera with me - but I have since been back with an SLR and will probably make another video soon of my better pictures. In particular the ones here really lack wideness!
That's the funny thing; the place it still buzzing with power and as you've seen, even some of the lights still work. There are many places in the building where you can hear switchgear and other electronic equipment that is humming and there are machines still left on!
Lol, no. If I'd 'asked someone' to get in, I'd probably have been escorted off the premises. The vast majority of the time Urban Exploration is done by sneaking in past security and remaining undetected the whole time. I would also like to announce, access to this place is not easy, and if you're afraid of heights... forget it.
What is the name and artist of the song starting at 1:25
I searched the artists in the description, but still couldnt find it

'to canabalise parts' - are you basically saying you went in to nick stuff? Or are you an SP employee
