  • Do you need a othello board to play it cus mine has cards not disc's?

  • Thumbs up if your here because of Kenichi: History's Strongest Disciple

  • all i want for christmas is othello othello othello!

  • I've had this game on my first cell phone and never knew how it worked. thanks

  • This game was made in 1971?!?! Crap. I thought it would have been as old as chess.

  • @loggerbomb It's older than that, look it up on wikipedia under "reversi" but not as old as chess. " The game's first known-to-be reliable mention is in 21 August 1886 edition of The Saturday Review. "

  • I really need help with this game by the way where Can I buy this game?

  • @Travisthetoaster eBay for about thirteen bucks

  • First time I played Othello, I took every single piece of my opponent. It was a black out!

  • thank you

  • i suck ass at this game...

  • my sister and i played this game all the time when we were growing up

  • Let's chat

  • Gatto shit

  • Comment removed

  • oh cool! i've been wanting to learn how to play.

  • i ve been playing this game since i was 12, nobody plays me anymore bcause they'll know i'll win

trick is be the 1st the edge and corners and you will never lose trust me

if you can own 2 sides and 3 corners you might aswell put the Tv and kettle on game over

    ((d-_-b))

  • I came here because of Ballmer

  • thank you :)

  • por favor algo en español

  • Thanks for this. I've never played this game and we recently got the Othello mod game (which are 2 sided cards instead of tiles and a board). Now I know how to play it.

  • the best place to play Othello is playokDOTcom, the world's best players play there. To play in real life in the UK visit britishothelloDOTorgDOTuk

  • i love Othello. in fortunatly, I've played only vs pc. Is there a blog where I can play vs a human in line? thank you if you answer me. sorry for my spaghetti-english.

  • scusate dove posso trovare il reversi da tavolo?

  • OK NOW I GET IT

  • fucking thanks I just got it now ^^

  • there is a fun variant, I call REVERSE othello, the only difference is you win the game by ending with the LOWEST score, its INTERESTING.

  • 1:06 both black and white have moves and can place a disc on the board ;)

    nice vid

relax about C and X squares guys, thats a tutorial not a strategy advanced master guide!

  • What showed on step 5 is highly risky,I mean, the position the white took.

In other ways, it's easy to earn an angle for the opponent.

2 moves and the black owns an angle ;)

  • Actually, it was invented in 1883 by a Englishman named Lewis Waterman.

  • Reversi NOT Othello was invented in 1883. In Reversi the four centre squares empty at the start of play.

  • Black and white discs in step 1 are in the wrong positions for Othello - black discs should be the other diagonal and in step 5, what kind of muppet would play 16g7?

  • What the hell are you talking about, you Cheeky Bastard?

  • didn't realize it was invented relatively recently

  • So that's how you play..

  • i LOVE othello

  • woot corners but i don't play this game

  • lol the black player

  • ...

  • nice

  • read the directions in the book

  • I thot this game was called "GO"

  • go is usually played on a larger boeard and the pieces must be surrounded horizontally AND vertically.

  • Yeah me too. I learned how to play it at my Japanese school.

  • Uh, this is random but does the game Othello have anything to do with the Shakespearean character Othello?

  • There is some lose connection yes.. The game reminded the creator of the fight for the girl Desdemona between Othello (a Moor) and the white Portuguese De Jago. There are also some opening positions which are named after characters in the play.

  • I haven't played that in years

  • lol i played this game on the ds game 42 all time classics, only its called turncoat

  • lol silly JPs :P

  • haha the white player
