I can imagine that it isn't based on the fact that it is wrestling around with a domestic dog, which I dont really think that a credible scientist or keeper would allow something like that. You make a good point with your comment on human intervention, but I will say that I helped at a wildlife rehabilitation center and there were strict rules to follow when caring for the animals.(no eye contact, talking, wearing red,loud noises.)
