    Hej med dig ;)

  • @vindingvp Hej med dig, ja det er svært at benægte med den dårlige engelske accent ! God weekend!

  • @bachimac

Ej det var det helt fint ;) Og tak i lige måde, God video!

  • is it me or is this guy's voice the most relaxing you've ever heard?

  • I wonder if macbooks ever gonna get a built in blu ray drive.

  • @Giroutte um no never os x is apples only open system and we are lucky for that.

  • @guynamedoliver actually there are articles in which apple states that by 2012 they hope to buy BD rights to built them into new mcbook pros...

and I don't understand what you're trying in your comment, kthnxbye.

  • for a beginner he did well, apart from the racist joke, retarded voice and annoying puns.

  • That's why i don't like iMac if the display is full HD as they said why they don't add the blu-ray i don't understand Steve Jobs.

  • But I like the lights

  • Nice nokia n95

  • With vlc yes, but not natively,, you can easy rip bluray to a mac format with many different programs so you also can view them on apple tv.

  • so can this PLAY blu ray too?

  • LoL ChrisG2014 i am quite friendly!

  • wow his voice scared me!!!

  • @ChrisG2014 I think its actually relaxing, is that a bad thing? I think its nice and casual to listen to

  • Speak up!

  • Thanks Bachimac I have the same Macbook Pro and I hate how Mac's do not have internal Blu-ray burners. They should have a version thats thicker to allow a bluray

burner set up.Your video was very informative and straight to the point.

  • @reticulan5 Thanks!

  • @reticulan5 They dont because of copyright from sony

  • @reticulan5 apple would never pay sony to use blu ray

  • @josephfranks1998 It's a pity as Apple customers are missing out. You'd think after several years Blu-ray would fall into public domain or be incredibly cheap.I think Apple not having a Blu-Ray has severely hampered sales

as I know alot of people have PC laptops with a Blu-Ray burner as DVD is nearly 18 years old.So I personally think Apple is penny wise pound stupid,as the old saying goes.

  • Wish I could find this to buy in the UK. Great video.

  • moet je die speler apart erbij kopen ?

  • @AppleKonijntje12 Dat ik niet begreep. Engels aub

  • @bachimac He said: do you have to buy the player apart?

  • @ikke9719 Yes!

  • great vid

  • a computer that costs more than $1000 doesn't have bluray unbelievable macs are the best c mon apple 99.99 pc's in that price range has bluray

  • @jaehyeonan macs are defiinitely not the best :P

  • Great video, thanks.

  • whats are the read/write speeds?

also this is another good one out

    BE08LU20 by L.g

  • This one is an old one from when i was a PC, and this writes with 4 speed.

The LG you suggested looks nice!

  • Does this enclosure now give you the ability to watch blue-rays? Or do you need to get a third party software to watch them. I have no interest in burning blue ray, simply watching them.

  • Hi

No, not yet,, the Mac need a player,

You can backup your blu-ray with makemkv and then convert it to Apple tv or other formats..

  • or use bootcamp ¬¬'

  • @bachimac

Or you could use the Windows parallel.

  • Does anyone know where I can purchase that device in USA

  • @m66dragon ide say order it from the uk, and ship it to the us.

  • Thanks for the review, I plan to get the same enclosure and blu-ray writer for my iMac. The simplicity of the initial setup makes me very confident.

  • You talk a bit like Kimi Raikkonen lol

    good video

  • Thanks! lol

  • is it possible to watch blu ray movies on a mac yet? even with bootcamp?

  • no, i havent found software that can play movies on the mac, or software that can Backup a blueray movie on the mac.. . i hope that Snow leopard will fix that.. if you find any please let me know...

  • i dont know this for sure but cant you just do it in bootcamp?

  • Not shure if i want to,, but do you know any pc software that can backup bluray ?

  • i have not done it myself but i know for shure that you can rip a blu-ray into a 14gb mkv file ( 1080p )

  • nice!

  • A really good video. Well done.

It's interesting when contrasting the size of your MBP to that of the BluRay drive; and at how large the drive looks.

    Shame about the lights.

  • Blue light for a blu-ray. Makes perfect sense if you ask me.

  • Really cool! :)

  • very good vid!

  • Thanks!

  • nice voice dude :)

  • I want to use this method of yours to rip BD to my hard drive using Toast 10 and played on my flat screen using Plex. Do you think is gonna work? I own a mac mini 1.83 gz.

  • If not toast can do it, maybe you should try mactheripper or handbrake. im shure its posible..

  • Really good for a first video.

  • Thanks!

  • Any via the box you use usb 2.0 or firewire to connect.

  • what kind of mac is that?

  • Any, you are using usb 2.0 or firewire to connect to your mac

  • so does this come with a blu ray drive or is it just the box?

  • No, its just the box,, the blueray drive you will have to buy seperately, remember its a sata drive.

  • btw its bluray/blu-ray, not blueray...

  • thanks!

  • yw :)

  • Har ikke prøvet det endnu,, Men jeg tror det kræver en anden afspiller end mac´s dvd player...

  • FED FILM!

lige et spørgsmål; kan man se bluray film på computeren, eller kan man kun brænde dem?

  • Thanks,,, yes, i´m Danish,,,

  • Nice video:)

are you danish? You sound like that:P
