@bfs7999766 If you are talking about Tracie Thoms, yes. She played Joanne in the movie and in the last performances in 2008 when Rent closed on Broadway after 12 years running on stage. She actually auditioned for the part back in 1996 to play the original Joanne but she was too young so they sent her back to Julliard. Ironic.
