This song touches my heart. My daughter Adia passed away in my womb at 41 weeks. When she says "know that there were two now only you remain" hits me like a freight train! I also like the part where she says "when the light went fading fast and the words YOU'LL NEVER FORGET as i slipped away" makes me think of when they told me they couldn't find a heartbeat. I think the idea of a woman having to make that very difficult decision to end a pregnancy and saying goodbye to the child she could have had is so heartbreaking. And this song could really sum up that feeling. But I think when she says "baby" she's not being literal. It could be a lover, or a family that never was to be.
