Please visit my channel for the unpopular truth about homosexuality.
A person does not need hatred or any kind of phobia in order to acknowledge important differences between heterosexual attraction / behavior / marriage / adoption and homosexual attraction / behavior / marriage / adoption. Even non-religious people know this.
Homosexual activists, with support from the media, have successfuly framed themselves as noble victims; it's an effective way to push a social agenda.
This completely contradicts modern psychology, but it may be a healthy belief to have.
In reality, all people have good and bad tendencies. These all come from our evolutionary past. We have compassion and empathy and honesty because these tendencies help us survive in societies. We also have anger and jealousy, etc. because they are useful for dealing with resource conflicts.
It is vitally important for humanity to understand human nature as it really is instead of what ancient tales tell us.
@AThagoras I don't think they are in contraction. That would be to confuse the 'how' of these tendencies with the 'why'. What he is talking about is why we chose to act on them in inapropriate cirumstances, not how we came to have them in the first place.
so speaketh the man who believes ENgland should adopt Sharia Law for it's Muslim population to avoid being subjected to terrorist attacks... Not wise. Not wise at all.
We are born into the condition of sin: this gives propensity. However, it is possible to live without sinning oneself, yea even in one's thought. Placing God first in one's life, combined w/ an avoidance of sin (displeasing Him), is a most excellent start in the quest, as well as an exceedingly great ongoing practice. Yet in our (fallen) state, may come influences beyond our immediate recognition/control.... therefore needs must one be ever vigilant in our love for, and supplication to, Him!
I have a lot of respect for Anglicans generally, but their depleting membership shows that they are a flock of sheep without a shepherd. Dr Williams should resign for the good of his church.
The majority of Anglicans are basically Catholics, which is why thousands of Anglicans have converted to Catholicism.
Dr Williams is not, in my opinion, a Christian. He advocates the implementation of Sharia law and is therefore a traitor to the church which he belongs.

No, He did not.
The same way darkness do not exist, what really exists is no light, few light, not darkness, the logic explains itself in "good and evil"
Peace!

I'm an atheist but I highly respect this guy.
Some people nit-pick the details of the bible; but he looks at the big picture. And the big picture is the best thing about the bible.
