@ghienpho Aww thanks. No, he's not very camera shy. I don't really focus the camera on him often because his personality & facial structure is pretty mono tone. In the past a lot of people take that as he's angry or doesn't want to be on camera. He doesn't mind being on camera but he goes about as he usually does since it's day in the life. He doesn't try and ham it up for the camera. LOL if that makes any sense. That's just normal Lonny.

I`m so sad am sitting here crying he was sooo cute, my son and me were just watching him in Fridays video and were laughing at him having a" mad half hour "as we call it. I can't even say it. Loc was injured when he tried to scare off intruders in the house 2 years ago. Jumped through a bedroom window & landed bad on his paw. Almost had to amputate it. Thankfully he recovered but we were SO worried.

How do you get along with Lonny's mom? My in-laws come to visit & stay with us for a couple of weeks & it's hard. Nothing makes them happy & after a couple weeks, I'm pulling out my hair. I know you live with her on some weekends. It's super nice that you are close to Lonny's dad & step-mom & the whole family. I love the family videos.
@fluffykingsbury Yeah I know. I marked Friday's video a favorite of mine so I can go back and watch it (when I'm no longer sad) to keep his memory alive. We both love his Mom but I won't lie that it's hard for both of us at times. Luckily we have the condo to keep as our own sanctuary.

@rakwil I think they've had Spider for at least 3 or 4 years. It was Maddie's first dog. He was a feisty little dog who hated men or mail people. LOL A little grump! But when he loved someone he showed it. When I first met him he growled and barked at me. Wanted nothing to do with me. I told him he'd change his tune by the end of the day. Sure enough within an hour we were best friends. Always came to my office when he first came in. Jumped on my lap and ran circles around me. I will miss him!

People are so scared of Piper(the 2 year old great dane) but she's very nice and gentle. She wouldn't hurt a kid. But she will back away if she doesn't want you to pet her. She's very picky about who she lets pet her :).
@shortii12341 I love Great Danes! There is a gorgeous one that lives in my townhome area. Oddly Colossus and him are friends and it's so funny to see them play together. Reason Loc came to live with Lonny is because he attacked a kid. We're always cautious of Loc playing with smaller dogs including Colossus. The weird thing is he's sorta scared of Colossus. I think he knows if he hurts Colossus he'll be in trouble. So he avoids being in the same room. He's really loving & loyal, though.
@shortii12341 (Continue) It also could have been because Loc's original owners didn't pay much attention to him. They weren't the best dog owners. So since he's been living with us for the past 7 years he's been really good. It's like he's been re-trained.

@dprsp1 I can remember growing up and our gas prices were under $1. And then I remember over last summer and the prices were close to $5. Oh yes, my Mom has always sent me home with either pre-made food or fruits/food in bulk. I'm so lucky to have such a great mom and also be my best friend. She's sacrificed and done so much for me growing up. Nothing I can do can express how much I am thankful for her.

I lost my first beagle 2 years ago. He was like my son. He got hit by a car, and had a broken let back hip, and a shattered right front leg. We put him down because surgery + amputation was too expensive and it wouldn't be fair to him to live in a cast. My condolences. That is always a hard way to loose a dog, especially when they are so full of life. You should look up the poem Rainbow Bridge. Warning: it is sad as hell, but touching.
@EnnBeezy92 OMG OMG OMG That is so heart wrenching! You made the right decision. It's so hard because animals can't really tell you when their in pain. And it's not fair to continue keeping them alive in their current state. I'm so sorry, great big hug to you and your family! Being their voice is hard too, because you want to be selfish and keep them alive for yourself, but deep down you know it would just be torture to keep them in such pain. Especially when they love to run, and play but they wouldn't be able to. I loved my dog, he was my son. I got his dog tag tattooed on my foot because that is where he used to sit. But I know I made the right choice. Definitely wait a few days to read that poem. Maybe a few weeks.

@Midami422 Definitely in doggy heaven chasing the mail(wo)man. LOL He loved torturing the mail person. Even actually got a lil nip at one once. My manager had to pick up her mail at the main post office b/c their address was on a temporary hold till Spider got checked out by the vet for rabies.

About how far do you live from LA generally?

Sooo sad :( RIP Spyder. I hope he's in doggy heaven now too. That must be devastating, especially for Christina and Maddie. How long have they had him? He seemed like such a sweet, good dog. I hope you're doing OK too, since you were pretty close to Spyder *hugs*

@rakwil I think they've had Spider for at least 3 or 4 years. It was Maddie's first dog. He was a feisty little dog who hated men or mail people. LOL A little grump! But when he loved someone he showed it. When I first met him he growled and barked at me. Wanted nothing to do with me. I told him he'd change his tune by the end of the day. Sure enough within an hour we were best friends. Always came to my office when he first came in. Jumped on my lap and ran circles around me. I will miss him!

People are so scared of Piper(the 2 year old great dane) but she's very nice and gentle. She wouldn't hurt a kid. But she will back away if she doesn't want you to pet her. She's very picky about who she lets pet her :).

@shortii12341 I love Great Danes! There is a gorgeous one that lives in my townhome area. Oddly Colossus and him are friends and it's so funny to see them play together. Reason Loc came to live with Lonny is because he attacked a kid. We're always cautious of Loc playing with smaller dogs including Colossus. The weird thing is he's sorta scared of Colossus. I think he knows if he hurts Colossus he'll be in trouble. So he avoids being in the same room. He's really loving & loyal, though.

@shortii12341 (Continue) It also could have been because Loc's original owners didn't pay much attention to him. They weren't the best dog owners. So since he's been living with us for the past 7 years he's been really good. It's like he's been re-trained.

Oh my gosh, I'm crying.... I am soooo sorry to hear about Spider!! My heart is breaking for his family and the office family as well. He was so sweet & funny in your videos and I will miss him greatly as well! How ironic that just a day or so ago we watched him being silly and running in circles and doing his paw wave for a treat.... oh man, sooo incredibly sad. awful gas prices! I'm in mass and our prices are over three dollars too. I love potstickers! Never tried leek and shrimp, sounds soooo good. Your mom seems like such a sweet women and a good mom. I love how she cooks for you and sends you home with food lol reminds me of a good Italian mother.

@dprsp1 I can remember growing up and our gas prices were under $1. And then I remember over last summer and the prices were close to $5. Oh yes, my Mom has always sent me home with either pre-made food or fruits/food in bulk. I'm so lucky to have such a great mom and also be my best friend. She's sacrificed and done so much for me growing up. Nothing I can do can express how much I am thankful for her.

Wow....I'm so terribly sorry Charlotte and Christine. My heart breaks for you both. He was a sweet and precious little fellow and I'm so happy I was able to experience him, even though it's from 3.000 miles away! I'll miss seeing him run around the office and beg for food. The dogs are gorgeous but I'm not so sure about the fish things.
My plants are starting to grow & my Bluebells are coming up ALREADY! The seasons are all confused.

I lost my first beagle 2 years ago. He was like my son. He got hit by a car, and had a broken let back hip, and a shattered right front leg. We put him down because surgery + amputation was too expensive and it wouldn't be fair to him to live in a cast. My condolences. That is always a hard way to loose a dog, especially when they are so full of life. You should look up the poem Rainbow Bridge. Warning: it is sad as hell, but touching.

And it's not fair to continue keeping them alive in their current state. I'm so sorry, great big hug to you and your family! Being their voice is hard too, because you want to be selfish and keep them alive for yourself, but deep down you know it would just be torture to keep them in such pain. Especially when they love to run, and play but they wouldn't be able to. I loved my dog, he was my son. I got his dog tag tattooed on my foot because that is where he used to sit. But I know I made the right choice. Definitely wait a few days to read that poem. Maybe a few weeks.

@EnnBeezy92 Yeah we wanted to adopt another dog but we're waiting till we have one house that all of us live in. Lonny, me, and our 3 dogs together, before I think about adopting a girl dog. It will be awhile.
