In the debate last night, Mr. White mentioned some of the things that Perry has just "let slide" for ten years that are suddenly "central" to his mission. ONE year ago, Perry was saying that Texas should let the federal government do it's job on the border and shouldn't use state resources to do a federal job. NOW he's a border security hawk, and he's retconning his history to match.
