  • Perfect that's exactly the info i was looking for while i was practising thank you my good man

  • Very nice! I'm gonna practice this lick, I even subscribed. Good work my friend

  • hey man this is my video response using the 2 licks i got from this lesson..

  • @FlyinVJs30RR

    great job... approved

  • @tziras fuck man tat means alot im more determined than ever...im gonna go practice more now thx!

  • Hi master...how you recommend the practice...as recommended practice when the exercise is already mechanized and incorporated one note per note, before working with metronome? for example would be nice to have the exercise repetitions? for example 10 or 20 repeats and controlate the way?.is that good?..an other question..is a good idea to practice each week a different lick, as the ttile says, week 3 week 4 etc regardless if perfect? or you mean improve the lick and they advance to the next?thx

  • @mtalmilitia

the most effective is to have 5-6 exercises

ana practice them for 10-15 minutes each one....until you can reach you max speed

every month you can change thos exercises in order to have a variety in you practicing time

  • 60 was already tough for me haha

  • the formula for the Harmonic minor is = R-2-3b-4-5-6b-7-R. There u go!

  • Thanks for these videos, and the invite! I have been working on expanding my theory knowledge, as well as my playing ability and I believe these lessons will help! I look forward to learning from you. Cheers!

  • Mate, what metronome you reccomend, and where should i look?

  • @jfkdjfd

every metronome is doing the same job....

the most important is for you to like the "click sound"

  • thank you so much, after watching this vid and seeing how fast you can do it i practice this lick every day for some hours hoping sometime i will get it as fast as you

  • I'm on 166bpm after abput 3 weeks of practicing.. is this good or??..

  • @CGLmusic

    yes it is...

  • what metronome are you using.

  • @ESPLTDSMITHY

    fine metronome

  • thnx for your videos, you play really well but can you upload some metal riffs????plzzzzzz.......

  • @MrZombiefilth

check "Lick of the week 18-21" please

  • I like you just to much, I try to learn flight of the bumblebee and this video will help me alot, the metronome is the key!

  • i can do this scale in only 60 beats per second.....that's a tough one.....

  • youre awsome man! subscribing

  • excellent music lots of talented

  • Wow very nice guitar mate...custom made by you?

  • @xXMW2nutterXx

no.. it is Palm Bay guitars

  • Nice channel dude, indeed. I am shocked. And guys, check my new feature at my channel.

  • man i have a request for you i want you to cover the solo of Avenged Sevenfold - Afterlife

  • @MatKiller1197

sorry, i cannot do covers due to copyright restrictions

  • @MatKiller1197

That was the stupidest request I've ever seen. This guy is a professional guitarist, some stupid kid playing garbage avenged stupidfold songs.

  • @theblacklvlage

    completely agree 100%

  • you seem to be a very nice person, and undoubtedly an amazing guitarist

    cheers from brazil

  • Thanks for not doing this over because of the A chord miss. It shows you are human and can make an error which makes our misses less frustrating. Very inspiring posts! Love them.

  • nice skillz mate... damn it i just have an accoustic guitar... but this works anyway!

  • It's so nice to see someone who knows these scales :)

I remember theory... pounding major thirds and minor seconds in scales... killing myself going into the details. But since A has no key signature in minor its a good one to start with. The g sharp must not be forgotten!

  • lol, your accent is great.

  • Hey....how would i go about purchasing one of those fine signature models??

  • @42littlebit

unfortunately Palm Bay is out of bussines

  • @tziras Damn....shame, they looked like nice guitars

  • im having a problem with my fretting fingers, for ex. Say if im playing with fingers 1,2,4 my 3rd finger has the habit of allways trying to hit the fret as if i were playing in a fretting sequence of 1,2,3,4 (Problem varies with all finger) this is really getting me fustrated and id like to know what kind of excersise i can do so my fingers all "fret" individualy without the other fuckers gettin in my way. thank you

  • @JimB0SLicE1

check lick of the week 88,89

    this will help you

  • It's going al so eassy by you,..and your fingers always so close to the fredboard!AMAZING

    check the intro at 0.15

  • @tziras ahhh, I didn't even notice that.

  • im willing to bet you can make a sandwich faster than me.

  • Why do he prefers the "down, up, down, up" pick, instead the sweep, such as: "Down, up, down, down...)?

  • @KelvinBurigo

    it works better for me..

  • @tziras Sorry for asking, wasn't a fix, i'm far to being correct you LOL so, don't take the wrong way, I love your videos and i learn a lot with it. Thank you Ziras, and thank you for awnsering!

  • @KelvinBurigo

    no problem...thank you

  • @KelvinBurigo For most of the licks on guitar, alternate picking would be a good and accurate method of picking. Most licks cannot be played cleanly without alternate picking.

  • @andrewkeen24 I know this, but my teacher, my brazilian guitar Idol(Gustavo Guerra, you should know him), Paul Gilbert, and I, also, everyone i quoted, play scales (3-note-per-string) using the "down, up, down, down, up..." cause it is is faster for us. But, for Theodore, the best pick style is the only "down, up, down, up", he have said it. So, everyone and I, also, use the alternate pick, but for this situation i suggests the sweep+alternate technique, just cause i learn this way. Regards! =)

  • AAAAAH THAT GUITAR IS SOOO SEXY!!! NO HOMO

  • DIOOSS! Gran acento español!

  • @themaxx16

Awesome guitar you've got there though, wish it was mine :D

  • Thanks for all the lessons, I've learned a lot since I discovered your channel.

Just one thing, how many guitars do you have? lol

    God bless you!

  • @Risims1

    i have 10 guitars

  • @tziras you should do a video on the different guitars you own and why you bought them.

  • you have the best lessons on youtube

  • i want that guitar, lol, when these were in production i could never afford one, now i can afford one, they no longer make them and are as rare as rocking horse shit!.....bloody typical!!

  • "I will not do it faster... I could but it would trigger natural disasters all over the Earth and people would die, so I will refrain "

  • I thought he would lick a guitar when i looked at the tittle :P

  • h zografia sou sto intro einai tromerh ... bravo safton pou thn ekane

  • One more time!

  • looks like that 1 dislike was from yngwie malmsteen

  • @TeodoroBalenetiko

    no...Yngwie loves me !!

  • @TeodoroBalenetiko It was probably from someone who couldn't play the measure at 240 beats per min.

  • Think I'll stick to 90 BPM !!! :p

  • I'm surprised no one commented on how at slower tempos you aren't in time with the click. Honestly though, tight as hell for the faster tempos.

  • what strings do u use?

  • @asvvampire

    9's D'Addario

  • Nice guitar

  • loan me youre guitar,im broke,no money for a new one!hahaha....

  • Thankyou for flipping it makes it so much easier to follow for us righties XD

  • Thanks a lot for the lesson, Theodore! You're great!

  • What guitar do you use? And thanks for the lesson! Really helped.

  • @140358

please check the intro at 0.15

  • you will not go above 240BPM because it might kill everything within a 20 feet radius?? haha

  • thank you master

  • Hi yeah I have a question, can I have your guitar?

  • @WeveGotNoTimeToLose

unfortunately no...this brand is out of bussines...

  • @tziras That's cool, you can mail me yours.

  • he says that he wont play the lick any faster because the are too many notes jammed together but i think its cuz the metronome cant go any faster

  • Hmm. Good ascending/descending lick in phrygian. :D

Just one thing, try add5 power chords and 6 power chords. They sound REALLY great with Neo-Classical and anything in harmonic minor/Phrygian.

If you don't know what I'm talking about (I am pretty sure you do) I will make a video response. :)

  • Haven't practiced this stuff in months.... But I need to get on it, sounds way too sick.

  • Best guitarist and best lessons on You Tube.

  • Great guitar!

    what brand is it?

  • @guillotinedeath

check te intro of the video at 0.15

  • Like if you hate the dogs driving ad.

  • Another excellent point made here is about what is called "economy of motion." While alternate picking, as such, it is SO important to let the amp do the work.... The smallest amount of wrist/hand movement is where the speed and control comes in.

  • His speed...... its over 200!!!!!!!

  • awesome man, 240 bpm :o that was fast, what guitar you got there?=D

  • @DumbShitOnGuitar

check the intro of the video....
