i hope you are ok. a long time has passed and perhaps you dont come here anymore. my mother died a couple of weeks ago and it was helpful to listen and see you. thanks for what you offered.
I didn't lose my mother, but i lost my grand-father a few years ago. I was close to him and everday after he died i felt empty, it felt like a part of me was missing. Even though it has been years I still miss him. I am there for you and I do know the feelings!
I'm so sorry for your loss. It's challenging losing someone, no matter what age. Everyone deals with grief differently and I think it's great that you're acknowledging your feelings regardless of what other people say... People like to share things sometimes, thinking that they're HELPING and really their words aren't helping one bit. So I'm glad you can push the comments that don't resonate with you and honor how you're feeling instead. Big hugs to you.
Thank you, today was another tough one; going through my mother's photos and personal effects while cleaning out things set me off--eyes are bleary again, but it's good to get it out. I appreciate your comment!
Im sorry for your loss. My friend juat passed away 4 days ago today. He was only 15 years old, and was younger than myself. He was involved in an ATV rollover accident with 4 other boys (it was a "rhino"). It spun out of controll flipped over, and pinned him. He died of a crushing death.
It is awful to hear that anyone reacted to you in that way about it "being time." It doesn't matter what age the person is...when you lose someone, it is forever. You've had a lot of experience with grief and I know that. It's always different though. Just the other day, I heard the song "Let it Be" and it sent me into uncontrollable crying over my brother. It's been 14 years...it is still so raw sometimes. For me, the pain never passes, it just evolves into different pain. HUGS HUGS HUGS
Oh, it's always different depending. . . and we all handle things differently at different times. I know you miss your brother, and it DOES hurt, and we have to be there to support each other. I'm there for you too!

I'm sorry about your young friend. It is even worse knowing their whole life was ahead of them. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you.
