Agree with @simonnicolhd. Why would bret side with hogan, the man who held him down in wwf? It was ridiculous.
I also thought his initial babyface run in wcw was a mistake because Bret still had too much heel heat from his anti-usa angle. WCW could have brought bret in as a heel, teased him joining the nwo, only to have him turn on hogan, making him face again. This could have happened over the course of a year rather than the weekly heel/face turns they were doing.

@SimonNicolHD The problem is that his heel turns/face turns in WCW didn't make any sense. In WWF, his heel turn made perfect sense since it seemed like he kept getting screwed by Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels and the fans were turning on him to cheer for those guys.
