Oh how true! I have 4.5 year old GGB triplets. The insane things people say crack me up! I can't count the number of times I've been asked if they're all identical. Really? Basic biology people. 2 girls, 1 boy...different parts = not identical. Or, how about, Do you have help at home? I can't imagine taking care of all three alone. Uhh...no, no help. Plus I have 2 older kids! Or, One of my favorites, How do you do it? You just DO. Who else is going to do it if I don't? Are you volunteering?
I have twins also, but no one usually asks if they're from in vitro. I guess it's b/c I usually have their older brother with them. He just turned 2 and they're seven months. They probably figure no one would purposefully have 3 kids in 18 months! Also, they're identical. But for those that DO ask, I tell them, No, I just had regular sex. One day I'm going to elaborate and tell them, "No, I had down-n-dirty sex in the back of a minivan-- hubba hubba baby!" I think they will go away then.
Oh my gosh, I tell people my cousin just had twins (a boy and a girl) and people ask the same stupid questions! Or they're like "Is she over 35? She must be over 35, her eggs must be old that's why she had two" What the hell!?!? (she's 32 btw!)
Thank you so much for this video. I have twins and get bombarded with questions ALL the time. Questions I never got with my first two kids. Mine were spontaneous (I hate the world natural, as if twins that aren't spontaneous are artificial.) But after people finish with there millions of questions about my ability to get pregnant they then go on to the "Oh they are spontaneous! Do they run in your family?" and want my genetic history. Now I just tell people I don't talk about my uterus.
I'm having fraternal twins, and they were conceived "naturally" (haha) after months and months of trying. People ask me about IVF all the time, and even though we hadn't done it, I still can't believe the audacity people have asking that personal of a question. I mean, so what if we did!? Would that make them any less my children? Hang strong, mommies!
Just a quick question regarding the State software. How were you able to use the various theme backgrounds and characters all in one scene? Like the one scene for example with the news station background from the Playgos collection and the Starz and Pawz characters.
My twin boys are fraternal and look nothing alike...nothing! You wouldn't believe the comments on that fact. People actually stop me to look at them in the stroller and have then said, "OH...sorry, we THOUGHT you might have had TWINS!" As if they wouldn't stop someone with a double stroller who did not have TWINS. Geez!
My sister has twins and she was at a doctor's appointment. The person behind the desk was asking information about her kids. They asked her how many she had, she said 3. They asked how many pregnancies she's had, she said 2. Then they asked for their birthdays, she said July 19 and December 19. The person then asked her, what is your third child's birthday. Well duh! She had 2 pregnancies and 3 kids. that should tell you something!
I can't even imagine asking someone this just because they had twins. Twins happen naturally all the time and that type of question is horribly invasive and rude.
No kids here, but I enjoy your videos, even though they make me feel righteous indignation and frustration on your behalf. Best of luck with all the turkeys out there!
Oops! Just realized it's my daughters account that's logged in. LOL! Sorry about that.

I don't have twins, but I think this is still pretty funny...my one boy is the one smashing bottles in the store, one is enough sometimes!

I went to vote with my twins in a stroller and the person handing me my ballot asked if I had "taken drugs"...
My response: " Why are you asking? Are you trying to score some?"

I have twins and this video is perfect! The best comment I've gotten so far is, "Oh you have twins? Ohhhhhhhhhhh." What the hell?!
