Thanks again for the replies. Yes, a close up picture would be nice of the fram underneath.
But it will take a lot more than a hammer, because if it were as simple as hammering a frame together I would have done it long ago. You're a welder by trade, ya?
a hammer and The Hammer ** it is funny expresion. I let U finde difference yourself :)))
I was a diver in EU. Wellding was part of my job. Now I do only recreational diving and I own welding transfomer. I have only side picture. Will take from botom another one.
I had a look at your other video explaining the design and how you made it, but unfortunately I can't undertand Russian :-) (would be nice if I could because I really like Russian choral music and singers!). Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks for the reply and the link to this page. Wow, you don'r seem to have much truoble with the slope up to the bridge. I heard that front drive recumb.s are better for uphill climing. The only similar type I had a chance to test-ride was a Cruzbike in Perth, Australia and it felt rather unstable going downhill.
Are the aluminium sheets running from the center to the rear supported underneath with any tubes like a regular frame would have?
Yes there is only 2 short aluminum tubes about 150mm long welded to steer pipe. Then on a top I cover it with aluminum sheets. Prototipe; imagin I cut standart bike frame 150mm from steer colum.
Then cover it with 2 vertical alum, sheets.
I made steer colum as a new part. It was needed for assembly using welding
@madaboutvoice no my friend the fwd bikes aren't better for climbing, cos the front wheel spins very easily on the ground because there is lack of wheight on it..same as cars..regular bikes with rwd transmision are better for climbing as you are more steady when driving :)
Nbr*2 was made in 1994 and was left at Danish company REMS. I rode in DK popular ride 320km long. REMS is my sponcer for a ride and in 2008 they present to me carbon-fiber-monofin
Some time it is not good. Friday I made little triatlone. Rode my bicycle to St.Andrew and back aprx 30miles, runn~3m and did diving. Well today Saturday feel bad while diving in Vortex Spring. Have not touched "Table-Rock"

I may send U a good-resolution picture.
I'd like U advise to make a prototipe of FWD simple from still. Do not worry about weight. Start riding as soon as you can.
I made this Sofabike in 1991. The First FWD I made in 1988. I think it was about 15 FWDs done before I got Sofabike.
THE BOTOM LINE;
take a hammer and Do it.
Start riding with a cheap prototipe.
My Dreams: Carbon-Fiber frame.
in 1991 carbon thechnology was'nt in market for regular-people

@TD4f22 Agree with You 100% FWD will be better for ride uphills.
On this video I do demonstrate a sofabike ability to climb uphill.
I made sofabike with weigh distibution (when it has no cargo-load, only a rider) 50% to 50% on bough wheels

Was the bike made in 1991 or the video? very cool! What is REMS? I saw that on your monofin also.

This sofabike was made in 1991.
Video was filmed in May 2009.
I made two indentical sofabikes.

The more I ask, the more interesting you are! You must be in good shape to do all of this. Alas! I am not.

we need to do somethink with u'r motorcykle and my VAN.
I made back-rack-platform for a VAN. You maybe remember. My engineering estimated load 450kg (~900pounds)
I'd like you to drive motorcycle on a platform.
Perhaps it is a future idea to drive to KeyWest together

That would be fun also. Chase footage of my bike? Just as soon as it leaves the repair shop. I also have 4 wheel all terrain vehicle.

very very nice freediva Nik, I love you style a rideing. Very very very quik, what camera is dat? five star

Thanks:)
On begining mini-camera Aiptek holded by operator hands
Then on a way back camera Sanyo HD-1000 mounted inside underwater-housing with "Fish-Lense" DCL-20
Camera-housing was monted on a roof level of support-van Sprinter-2500.
There fore van-driver has to folow me by paralel line with a same "sofabike" speed.
