so lemme get this straight: western governments are restricting civil liberties and imposing taxes/ public spending to fight terrorism and to "ensure our safety"... and then any asshole can walk away with private data just by taking a trip to ghana? well done! i bet we're all feeling safer now...
Its actually really sad for me as a Ghanian living in London because I went a couple of years ago and unfortunatley the Goverment can not really organize a proper waste disposal facility.
To tell you the truth Ghana is a really beuatiful place but sites like theese are where people actually live. IT
LOOKS NASTY THERE BUT ACTUALLY BEIGN THERE IN PRESSENCE THE STENCH IS OVERWHELLMING!
What about Canada? I have heard America a few times and the "West" but nothing of Canada. Is Canadian computer recycling facilities actually following proper protocol, or is the smaller population simply playing a smaller role not worth mentioning on any of these videos?
FYI- Article in NYTimes about responsible e-waste recycling. Youtube won't let me post a link, but do a search for "responsible recycling" and find the article on Oct. 24.
Non of my HD's arrive in working conditions, even if the local government ships them out... I remove the platters and demagnify them, then smash them with a hammer!!
Man, what's that, an FBI agent hitting a hard drive with a hammer! Was he at the Hard Disk Hitting Service inside FBI? Or maybe the Clown Acts Office? Amazing.

Is it time to recycle your old PC? It may be donated to a hellish dump far, far away.
