Update: I just remembered, they changed their name TO Golden Harvest, from their original name... "Brothers" which is what they were when I first saw them at the "The Gluepot" in Ponsonby
Fantastic!!! Where on earth did you find this? These guys played at pubs all over Auckland in the mid 1970's, then won single of the year in 1978 with this song. All the musicians (not the vocalist) were brothers I think, Kevin, Gavin, Eru and I can't remember the other one. IIRC the ban had a name change their name shortly after this was released, but I can't for the life of me remember what they changed it to.
AWSUM!!! My sister and I loved this song when we were alot younger in good ol Papakura! Kiwi music back then was pretty cool!! Memory lane big time watching this again. Thank's for posting it.
all said and done, 70's would have to go down as the best decade on record. Forgive me for being bias... (apology for the choice of song, it's hilarious..)
What a great song...I remember driving through TAURANGA SINGING IT OUT LOUD...THREE CHEERS.........READY to ROLL,remember when STEVE GILPEN from MI SEX was the host of the show...The memories live on in MELBOURNE...KIA ORA.
