  • I think all of us that disagree with Joel should spend more time praying for Joel’s salvation. I honestly believe that if Joel was genuine Christian he would probably contribute greatly in the salvation of souls.

  • kOsmon One can't have growth without truth. Osteen is just a motivational speaker not a true pastor.

  • scgamer2013 Thanks for the comment and I agree with you 100%. My heart is with the Jewish people so much. I do stand with them in the turmoil they're going through. Great judgement will come on this country if obama keeps it up.

  • "God sent His Son so that you may live an abundant life." Yeah, an abundant life full of sin. Can't you Osteen supporters realize that every human is naturally born in sin? My brothers, listen to me! PLEASE! Sin is no obstacle that can be overcome without Jesus! Cast your hope on Him, not on money! What the heck does the word "idol" mean to you? You'd rather have money. Self-esteem only matters if it helps you toward spiritual health. Truth-preachers WILL be persecuted, and THEY are saved.

  • Well, if you are a believer, just a believer, nothing more than a believer, you must agree with Paul Washer. Fact is he is only reading the Bible. maybe with a bit of personal enthusiasm, but friends, that is the truth. The Bible does not lie, because it is the Word of God, who cannot lie! Jesus didn't die on that cross so we could have an abundant life, or so we could feel good about ourselves! He died and shed that precious Blood so YOU and I could be saved from our filthiness and iniquities!

  • @adalbertomodesusa ::: The bible does not lie? The bible is full of contradiction and error. Bart Ehrman wrote a book about them titled "Jesus, Interrupted". After you are 'saved', then what? That is where Osteen shines, in teaching Christian living.

  • This is real preaching by Paul Washer. Our world needs so much more of this. I tremble at the amount of people osteen has following him to hell. So sad.

  • @doodle836 Amen. Have you seen the size of his church? It seems to be completely full every time! Why? Do these people really think money and success in our earthly lives is more important than God? What happened to verses like "You cannot serve both God and Money."? We are in a war...a war to spread the truth to Joel Osteen followers, Jews, atheists and all of them. Obviously, we have a HUGE minority, but you know who we also have? GOD!

  • @doodle836 :: You are sad to not see beyond the bare fundamentals of Christianity. That 'real preaching' gets very redundant if you are looking for growth.

  • Paul Washer: a man of God

    Joel Olsteen: a business man

  • @andrewwk6 = How kind you are to Osteen to simply call him a "businessman".

God doesn't share your view, and calls him what he is.

    See Jude 8 - 13 for details.

  • Thank you Pastor John Washer. You are right we are sinners but once we accept Jesus in our live we must not sinn no more.. John is preaching the trueth.. We must read the bible there is the trueth and then judge....

  • @candiceevans1 ::: There is no way you can understand the trinity because it is illogical. 3 in 1 is only good for household oil. Listen to Anthony Buzzard of Abrahamic Movement explain why the trinity is not biblical. Mark 15:34 "...why hast thou forsaken me?" God forsakes God??? Laughable !!

  • @k0smon Humans can't understand the Godhead because we are finite beings. To be able to understand would elevate us to an infinite level which is impossible . Again to understand God would make him finite,on our own humanistic level.

  • Read Romans 9,10,11,12 there problem solved. Dont think I could listen to either one of these guys long term, rather find peace in the holy spirit, believing solely that christ died for our sins and that God wrath turned from us to his own son is enough to save us all, thats it, salvation, the good news the gift, grow on after that or not, thats up to each one, but pray , and give thanks always.

  • @Missytrilakes It's not a matter of whether anyone wants to listen. It's a matter of who's speaking the truth. I'm a believer ,however I will listen to who speaks the truth.

  • I think both need help.

  • Yea, Washer is preaching the Word. Osteen preaches a warm fuzzy feeling and prosperity.

  • @yaykindie ::: How do you preach a 'feeling'? All the preaching I have ever heard of was done with words. What is wrong with prosperity? If you don't want yours, I will gladly receive it.

  • very well

  • Paul Washer's preaching is not glorifying to God. It is "self righteous" and full of condemnation.

God is LOVE and GRACIOUS He loves us all despite our sins therefore (John 3:16)

U cannot earn God's love and u cannot lose His love because HE is LOVE

  • @koky3301 Yes,God is love, but He does not love at the exspense of justice.

  • @vboy62 was it just that Jesus saved the criminal who was crucified next to him? All his life he was a criminal but the moment he repented and asked Jesus to remember him, the Lord said to him today u will be with me in paradise. We cannot understand God's grace if we judge it using our wisdom, I for one should fry for my sins but instead God has given me a new life.

  • that young man can do the same to you, Paul Washer! U have a wicked heart as well Paul, only God can judge

  • @koky3301 The problem is not that he does not know he has a wicked heart, the problem is that most people do not know or deny that they DO and are therefore self righteous.

  • @vboy62 Yes! I agree with your point of view I was one of those people until God reached out to me. I realized I am nothing without HIM but Phil 4:13 I can do all things through HIM who gives me strength. I often still struggle with my Faith and doing what I want rather than HIS will but HIS GRACE slowly changes me from Glory to Glory, it has nothing to do with my (self) efforts.

  • Paul Washer - depressing, highly emotional, emphasizes the dark side of the force, the negative side of the 'good news'.

Joel Osteen - encouraging, uplifting, emphasizes the light side of the force, the positive side of the 'good news'. Puts power and the love of God behind daily Christian living.

  • @k0smon Paul Washer: encourages Church discipline and rightly dividing the Word of Truth.

Joel Osteen: completely spineless when it comes to his beliefs on such things as Mormonism (as has been so well-documented here on YouTube). Wins the Reuben Award for being unstable as water.

So, k0smon, which is it? Truth, or error? You tell me.

  • @APSOC38 :::Bad illustration. Water is one of the most stable elements known. You call refusing to be judgmental being spineless? He is in obedience with the bible when he does not pronounce judgement. Mormons think they are Christian. Maybe they think you aren't. What is it that I am supposed to pronounce as truth or error?

  • @k0smon I disagree w/ u on all points. Reuben, Jacob's 1stborn, was pronounced by his own father as being unstable as water. Osteen refuses to make the distinction between Truth and error. He is in a leadership position, but demonstrates absolutely no solid convictions - and it appears that you don't either (except to vilify Paul Washer who actually is a MAN who stands for the Truth in Scripture). That's where the water reference comes from.

You need to watch this: watch?v=iWMrKcFKqzk

  • @k0smon Christians are not mormons and mormons are not christians, otherwise they would both be one or the other.

  • @vboy62 ::: Christians are not mormons? A mormon would not agree. Depends on your definition of Christian. Can a christian not believe in the trinity? Some do not see Jesus as part of the Godhead, only as the son of God, not God himself.

  • @k0smon The outcome of the counsel of nicea was Jesus IS God based on Isaiah 42:8,Colossians 1:15,John 1:1. If you do not believe Jesus IS God,you are not christian. End of discussion.

  • @vboy62 :: So God puts His affairs into the hands of a committee of men in 325CE?

Jesus did not know the name of the demon in Mark 5:9. He does not know the date of his return. Mark 15:34, God forsakes God??? John 20:17 "I ascend to my Father" John 8:28 "I do nothing of myself" Quite some weak God you have there. Bart Ehrman was right, the bible is full of contradiction and error.

  • @k0smon Well, you have the right to say what you are saying, but what you are saying is dangerous...because one day you will stand before God and He will NOT debate you or listen to you that He didn't give you enough information. Oh,yeah, don't forget,God asked Adam "where are you?" and "Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?" in the garden. Guess He didn't know that either, huh? So you've never asked anyone a question you already knew the answer too?

  • @vboy62 ::: If Christianity is correct, I will have to stand before the throne of judgement. But my bet is that it is not, so I will take my chances. Thanks for your interest.

  • @k0smon It's not a matter of if Christianity is correct my friend. It's not whether I'm right or wrong. It's a matter of whether or not you have a relationship with the one true God.No relationship then you will have to face the full Holy wrath of God, if not saved before you die ,simple as that. That's the honest truth.

  • @321spiderweb ::: And where did you learn this "truth"? From Christianity. And where did you learn that God had 'Holy Wrath"? From Christianity. Christianity is only one religion out of many. I have learned of God thru psychic sources. He is perfect, and does not have human failures such as wrath, jealousy, or hatred. That is bible nonsense. "Being saved", a Christian teaching. My knowledge is that it is how you treat other people that makes the difference. No 'salvation' necessary

  • @k0smon As we grow in the faith we just don't learn God from a loving perspective .but from a righteous, just, and Holy perspective.I do believe God made us in His image with the emotions to be jealous, love, hate ,laugh, and cry, with the freedom to do so,however, He can't sin.His ways and emotions are Holy and righteous. He is perfect, if not saved in Jesus, people will suffer the perfect holy ,justifiable, righteous, wrath,of God which is Hell(wrath). God is there as well as everywhere else.

  • @321spiderweb ::: We certainly do have those emotions. They are to be conquered. God did not make us perfect, as then there would be no growth. Trying to say a perfect God has wrath is like saying black is white. To my knowledge, Jesus is a continuation of Mithra, Krishna or Osiris. God does not need all the contrivance that the bible spells out to deal with His creation. Simplify your understanding of God to just the Father only. He is all you need.

  • @k0smon Hi Friend.Questions? Is there a Heaven and Hell? Question 2: If God is perfect and without sin and we are fallen with sin how are we justified in becoming Holy and perfect?Do you believe in a triune Godhead?Father ,Son,Holy Spirit? Did the Father send His Son to die so we could be reconciled to the FATHER with the Holy Spirit creating that belief and union with God? Didn't the Father 's wrath crush His only Son for the remission of sin so we could have life?Is there no accountability?

  • @321spiderweb ::: There are many heavens and many hells. Free download "Life in the World Unseen". 2. We are not fallen. We are new born children that must learn and grow. That continues forever. 3. No, God is not triune. There is only the Father, the Great Spirit, or whatever name you wish to give Him. 4 The story of a Son needing to die for us is from old mythology. It is used by the church as a control mechanism, and is not factual. The Father is perfect and has no wrath. Cont.

  • @321spiderweb :::Cont. We already have eternal life, since we have an eternal soul. Is there accountability? You bet your bippy there is. There is justice in the afterlife, but it does not work like the bible describes it. Each person is responsible for his own actions in this life. No one can save you from the results of your actions. How you treat other people is what counts, not if you are saved or not.

Thanks for the opportunity to answer these questions.

  • @k0smon Thanks for disclosing your beliefs. It was nice chatting with you.As for me I still believe Jesus is the only way, truth, and life ,and no one comes to the Father but through Him.He is living water and those who thirst come and drink ,and they will never thirst again. Again my friend thanks and may God be with you.

  • @321spiderweb :: Blessings! May God grant you higher understanding as you tread life's pathway. Kindness is the highest spritiual attribute. Practice that, and no matter what your theology, you will not go wrong.

  • @k0smon Oh that sounds sooooooooooo spiritual. It also is sooooo full of doggie doo. The wonderful thing about knowing the Word of God is that you can detect counterfeit teaching when you see it. Loving the Lord with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength is the greatest attribute. Practice that which is the only sound theology, and then and only then you will not go wrong.

  • @musketeer333 ::: The doggie doo is all yours. You have adopted a religion full of contradiction and error. How about loving your Creator with all your heart, mind, soul and strength, and forget the middle-men. Go directly to your Source. Religion carries a lot of baggage, and you are loaded with it to the hilt.

  • Ilove see your passion for gospel Washer, it amazing and inspiring me!!! god bless you!

  • Thank God for pastors like Paul Washer.

  • When did Christianity become a business of motivational speakers true Christianity isn't found out their or on YouTube it's found on your journey to God if their lost then damn it their lost keep pushing forward and you stay on track many are called but few are chosen to be apart of Gods mega plan a pastor can only take you so far but you gotta take the next miles alone the travel is scary and dark but thats why he gave a light to guide us

  • @DreamingOutLoud33 Just curious. Have you ever listened to any sermons by Albert N. Martin? I really think you would like him.

  • Todd is a man of faith, but I dare say he himself does not adhere to certain points in Scripture. What disturbs me is that he is so vocal about those points, ergo a heretic of sorts. Bummer because he is such a huge fan of Washer.

  • HalleluJah for preachers like Paul Washer! We need them...

  • Paul Washer and all the critics need to get their eyes off of Joel Osteen and onto Jesus Christ and keep it there where it belongs. Critiqing Osteen is useless. God is using him greatly and in spite of the critics, God's Favor is on Osteen and I testify that it is.

"For we are not bold to class or compare ourselves with some of those who commend themselves; but when they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, THEY ARE WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING." 2 Corithians 10:12

  • @PureAirSolutions I agree. This is one of Satan's greatest truimphets: getting brother against brother. It's so successful because 1- It makes God's list of the top 7 most detestable sins! (Pro. 6:16-19). 2- It divides the body of Christ, and a house divided will fall! (Mat.12:25). True christians must reject all this murderous behavouir among the bretheren. WOTM must repent of doing the devil's work for him.

  • @321spiderweb So if you have a brother in your household who believes in evolution, you would not dare call him your brother? You would cast him out of your life and call him a "publican"? I don't understand how you claim you love all people with such exceptions you make ( "you MUST be born again. you MUST speak truth, etc"). It's a serious accusation you make against Joel, saying he teaches a different gospel and is a false teacher. You either have solid evidence or you don't have fear of God.

  • @evanom2 What I meant was to be a brother in the body of Christ, same faith.. There can be different interpretations of brother. A stranger can be your brother out of love. I love all my brothers and sisters ,however only in the same faith ,same body ,are we truly brothers in Christ .Not talking about genetics. Anyways I should have explained it differently,My mistake. Again I do love all people.

  • @evanom2 One more thing friend. Joel preaches bits and pieces from the bible. He preaches love and how you can use verses to improve your life which millions of people are drawn too and of course that Christ died for us because were not all that bad. It's a humanistic kind of preaching on how to reach your goals bettering yourself for a good life .Jesus wants us all to be successful, happy, because he loves us all. There's a goodness in us. That's somewhat his interpretation of the Good News

  • @321spiderweb 1)...do you disagree with this? Would you prefer to hear how we are all scum with zero potential who should suffer and feel lousy for being human? Cause i´ll be honest, that´s kinda how i feel when i listen to Paul W. But you know what? I've learned to let go, not needing anymore to attack those i don´t agree with. Is Joel's message false? No. Unbalanced? Absolutely. Problem is, i'm unbalanced too! Sometimes focusing too much here and not enough there. ....

  • @evanom2 I understand on what you're saying and I don't disagree. No 2 people are alike . Personally I love Paul Washer's preaching. I was introduced to him just a few months ago and was blindsided by his theology in a good way. I do go through bouts of sadness, failure., loneliness, depression, and even despair.I try to give it all to the Lord but it doesn't leave me so easily, lol.Anyways lets keep listening to good pastors ,stay in the Word, and keep our eyes on Jesus. Take care

  • @321spiderweb 2).. how then can i remove the mote from Joel's eye? Are you balanced? Perfect in all of God's ways? Learn to let go. God doesn't hate us being unbalanced. When our children are learning to walk, we dont hate them for their lack of balance. We hold thier hand patiently and lovingly while they learn. What God DOES hate is when we are mean and reject each other.

  • @evanom2 There is no need for WOTM to repent. Perhaps you should consider that Joel Osteen's "preaching" appeals to those whom Philippians 3:18-19 rightly applies to. You should also consider 2 Timothy 3:1-5 and realize just how horribly wrong Osteen's message is. After all, do you know what it means to be a Berean?

  • @PureAirSolutions Didn't Jesus Christ say to His disciples go preach the Good news to the world .We are to spread the good news in truth and those that preach false doctrine are to be rebuked.Would you want your family to be told a lie and do nothing about correcting the one that's doing it. You would be condoning it. You may be right to some extent.God is raising up such people like Joel because it's Gods judgment on those who would rather follow the teachings of false preachers than the truth

  • @PureAirSolutions Have you considered that perhaps you might be without understanding? This is not about pitting brother against brother. This is about comparing true and false teachers. The differences between Washer and Osteen are night and day, and that is what Friel is pointing out. I hope that you have at least an inkling of understanding to grasp that. After all, as a human being, you breathe air and not water, right?

  • @PureAirSolutions Mr. Osteen is actually a judgement from God (Romans 1). He boasts in the fact that he does not talk about men's sin. Mr. washer is not dividing the body of Christ, because Mr. Osteen is not part of the body.

  • @vboy62 ::: Osteen does not boast. He just preaches as God wants him to preach. Osteen is one of the best things to happen to Christianity, Washer is one of the worst things to happen to Christinity.

  • @k0smon You don't get it...Mr. Osteen is not a christian,he is a heretic. I can quack and flap my arms and glue faethers to my body, but that does not make me a duck.

  • @vboy62 ::: Oh gee, he doesn't say what you think he should say, so he is a heretic. Heretic only means unorthodox, so maybe he is a little unorthodox. Does gluing feathers to your body make you a quack?

  • Yours... let me be as a tool in a toolbox ill sit there and wait until you pull me out and use me.. cause I can't pick myself up and do the job of your hands myself.. so I will wait and study the tools you have given me so when you do pick me up. I will know what im to do.... I want this lord.. even if you send me to he'll afterwards.

  • It is a scary thing to think that a man will one day walk up to God on judgment day like look at me look what I've done for you.... it will be look what you've done without me and inspite of me and all in my name... depart from me you workers of iniquities for I never knew you. That's what we all deserve to hear.. please humble yourselves and go before God and say I deserve he'll and nothing I can do would deserve me otherwise.. I need you lord.. and I want to serve you.. not on my terms but on

  • I don't hate the man.... I hate the sin just like I hate my own... the difference is I know how gross and disgusting I am in the eyes of God before I was saved by the grace of God... a preacher is supposed to be humble a servant of the lord not the face of Christianity. I boasted in myself when I was "saved" now that I really am saved I approach the lord as a dog with my head down with love and fear of the one who created all and will bring it to an end. Where has humbleness gone?

  • @jwgibbons1 Amen brother . I totally agree. Many out there who call themselves Christians , yet , seem to be filled with pride and love in a humanistic way which esteems man and degrades God.

  • It’s true God uses people and their gifts differently. What both of these men are saying for the most part is true. Of course either one of them can go too far in each direction. In Acts 2:38 Peter does tell the people to repent. Then in Ephesians 4:29 it does say we should speak edifying words.

  • Joel osteen is a guy who is up with the times..... he is a man of the world.... people can relate to him........ he's a good sales man. With that said ... a man that denies Jesus Christ is not the only way to heaven is false. A man of God would never deny such a truth. The guy is a wolve in sheets clothing and trust to justify his ways by bringing others along the path of destruction. GOD says the world will hate you cause they hated me first. Please don't hate the man pray for him

  • @TrustMoreAndMore ::: You have that backwards.

  • @k0smon the reason u dont understand why Osteen is a false teacher is becuase u dont know the bible, and only by knowing God's word u can know the genuine from the false.

    God bless.

  • @HackerzInc ::: I do know the bible differently than you do. I know it from the aspect of Bart Ehrman. There are many bible verses that support Osteens approach. It is just that you choose those that don't. Is it really God's word? Would God really write a book of the bible's low quality? I don't think so.

Joel Osteen bears good fruit. He fills his church with those who are blessed because of his positive approach. He is inspired by God.

  • @k0smon Bart Ehrman?! Really? He himself proclaims to be a "happy agnostic". You claim the bible as low quality because of Romans 1:30. You're born hating Him,therefore, you see Him as low quality.

  • @vboy62 ::: Really!!! He is an agnostic because of suffering, not the bible. I claim the bible as low quality because it describes a perfect God as having jealousy, hatred, and wrath. It also says He sends people to an eternal torture chamber. Those are descriptions of a false god. The bible is low quality because it is contradictory. Great claims are made for the bible, but on closer examination they cannot be supported. I see God as Perfect, the bible ascribes to Him imperfection.

  • @k0smon Yes,perfect hatred of anything that isn't conformed to Himself is one of God's attributes.Example;you open up a newspaper. You read that some man has kidnapped and tortured a child for 15 years. Are you neutral about that? Perfect jealousy is also one of His attributes. I don't know if you are married, but if your found your spouse in bed with someone else, would you not be jealous? When we worship idols(money, sex, self)God becomes jealous and moves Him to a holy anger or wrath.

  • @vboy62:::Proverbs 27:4 "Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who is able to stand before envy."

There is nothing perfect about hatred or jealousy. They are byproducts of lack of control of the situation. God is always in control. The real God is really perfect. The god as described in the bible is a false god replete with human emotional failures.

All deserve eternal torture, that's how good God is??? Yike! Grace, mercy and long-suffering make sense all by themselves.

  • @k0smon What, exactly would God have to extend grace an mercy for then?

  • @vboy62 ::: The same way that you would if you were dealing with a son or daughter.

  • @k0smon This god you have put your faith in...where is his special revelation? Is their a book that explains him?

  • @vboy62 :::I use the book Oahspe as my best source for understanding the Creator. It makes so much better sense than does the god of the bible. Even the Oahspe states that it is not infallible. As Carlton Pearson found out, there is room to grow in the understanding of the things of God

  • @k0smon Could you show me one example of where the bible is inaccurate? I believe you have a problem with God's word not because you think it is low quality, but rather you don't like the way it brings man low and God high. You disagree with what it says, not that it is inaccurate. HUGE difference.

  • @vboy62 ::: Inacurracies : 2 Sam 24:9 [800,000 men] 1 Chron 21:5 [ 1.1 million men];;Acts 1:18 [Judas purchases a field and bursts asunder] Matt 27:5 Returns the money and hangs himself];;2 Sam 8:4 [seven hundred horsemen] 1 Chron 18:4 [7000 horsemen];;Matt28:2 [angel rolls away the stone] Luke 24:2 [found the stone rolled away];;Micah 7:18 [retains not anger] Jer 17:4 [anger which shall burn forever].

If the bible really was the word of God, I would embrace it. But it's full of contradictions

  • @k0smon I'm sorry you feel that way,but those verses you refer to as contradictions are actually different perspectives from different people. Why do you think there 4 DIFFERENT gospels? If they were all identical, what would be the point of having all 4 in the bible? You're TAKING EVERY WORD of the bible literally and trying to make it walk on all fours, instead of READING the bible literally. Do you really think Jesus literally meant the kingdom of God is just like a mustard seed?

  • @vboy62 ::: Some discrepancies can be explained away, some cannot. Bart Ehrman in his book "Jesus, Interrupted" Revealing the hidden contradictions in the bible, refers to when Jesus ate the Passover meal, and when the curtain was torn in the temple. How can you rectify one report of 800000 men compared to 1.1 million men? Somebody made an erroneous report.

Have you ever compared each element in a gospel with the same element in the other three? That way the differences become apparent.

  • @k0smon As far as Acts 1:18 goes, yes,Judas DID purchase a field and burst asunder when he betrayed the Son of Man with a kiss because he did not repent. The field he purchased was a field in hell, which in turn would cause him to burst asunder.

  • @vboy62 ::: The field in hell would not be purchased with physical money. Which is correct? The hanging, or the burst asunder? Or both indicating that neither verse is complete in its meaning. If he gave the money back to the priests, he no longer had it to buy a field. His bursting asunder was a physical act, not a spiritual act. You are really straining to try to justify errors.in the bible.

  • @k0smon What do you think happens to a human body when it hangs from a tree long enough? Have you ever seen flesh rotting in the sun? It pops after awhile.

  • @vboy62 ::: By combining bible verses, you admit that they are incomplete and only half right. So much for your inerrant word of God.

  • @k0smon You are only revealing more and more of your hatred of God with each comment. I will pray for you. God bless.

  • @vboy62 :::There is only hatred in your imagination. No one, especially me, hates God. Mostly He is just ignored. Thank you for your prayers

  • @k0smon Micah 7:18 is referring to those who repent and Jeremiah 17:4 is for those who do not. Matt 28:2 someone witnessed the angel rolling the stone away and in Luke's gospel noone did. Two different people with two different perspectives.

  • @k0smon What weighs more,a pound of feathers or a pound of gold?

  • @vboy62 :::A pound of feathers weighs more, it equals 16 oz. A pound of gold weighs 12 oz. (troy).

  • @k0smon Exactly my point. Can you maybe entertain the notion that two different people can look at the same thing and measure it in different ways? Is a foot 12 inches or 30.48 centimeters? It's both, right?

  • @k0smon It is because God's wrath is real, that His mercy is relevant. Without a real wrath, grace, mercy, and long suffering make no sense. As far as Mr. Ehrman's suffering goes,do you know what ALL deserve? Eternal torture. That's how good God is.

  • Praise God for Paul Washer's unyeilding, uncompromising commitment to preaching God's Word, the only Way, Truth, and Life. The deception that prosperity preachers like Osteen instill in people makes me truly sad.

  • I didn't even read a single comment here.

  • don't compare preachers. I did not even watch this video

  • God can use whomever HE choses. Why can't BOTH of these men be men of God with different gifts and different audiences? Just a thought. We ought to be careful how we judge.

  • @2222pauline, I'm curious as to what you saying my friend, please clarify.

  • 6 people like listening to the liar Joel Osteen, go Paul Washer!

  • Comment removed

  • John Osteen, Joel's father was a REAL man of God who preached TRUTH

since his humble beginnings in a small Baptist church. Old John was a

soldier of the cross who stood the heat & paid the price.

Joel is a sweet boy who old John knew was shy and the only one of his

5 children who was scared to preach. At first when John passed away,

we loved and supported Joel because he seemed to want to try to be a

preacher of Christ like his father.

But somewhere along the way Joel got FOOLED by money.

  • @GooglFascists ::: Nobody got fooled, and there is no emphasis on money. Joel's emphasis is on right thinking (Proverbs 23:7). Joel aims his sermons at Christians, and there is no need for evangelism directed at them. Joel has been quite successful at his choice of approach, and people are blessed and helped by his positive outlook.

  • Osteen said: Im preaching on how people can live an abundant life while here on this earth...............hmm that's the opposite of what Jesus preached... Jesus said: He that loveth his life loseth it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. John 12:25 and also. Paul Washer preaches Scripture , the true Word of God.

  • @godislove633 ::: The gospel means good news. You make it sound like bad news. I want an abundant life in both worlds. I guess you do not believe John 10:10.

  • its not about competition its about belieivng God if this video helps you to grow and undrestand Gods call in your life its ok but if its to dee whos beete we are wasting time

  • Well said. Where filthy dirty and in desperate need of a bath. Repent turn from sin and put your trust in Jesus Christ!!!

  • Joel Osteen is a false retarded preacher with the only intend of getting richer through fools!

    Doesn't preach about "HELL"

    Doesn't like the word "SIN"

Thinks Jesus died for your "Wealth"

    What a douche-bag!

  • @LALOMAN18 ::: Joel is a true preacher, and aims his sermons at Christians. They already know about hell and sin. He makes his money from his book sales and does not take a salary from the church. His intent is to provide blessing to people who listen to him. He already has enough money. You might want to rethink your use of name-calling. It makes you look juvenile and makes your argument look weak.

  • The difference is Paul Washer preaches what the Bible actually says and Osteen preaches what he WISHES the Bible said.

  • The difference is Paul Washer preaches what the Bible actually says and Osteen preaches what he WISHES the Bible said.

  • "I believe".....what does the word of GOD say?

  • @malikzzzzz ::: What is the word of God?

  • @k0smon The words that proceed out the mouth of God? What are the words of k0smon?

  • @malikzzzzz ::: And where do we find this 'mouth of God'. How do we listen to it?

  • @k0smon In the bible and when He decides to send someone to you or speaks to you directly.

  • @malikzzzzz ::: But I do not find the bible to be of the quality to qualify as the mouth of God. Carlton Pearson received a revelation that no one goes to hell for unbelief. This is a direct contradiction to the bible. So it cannot be both. I would choose the voice over the bible.

  • @k0smon The bible itself isn't the word of God, but has the word of God in it. The bible itself is 66 books made by about 40 different authors in 3 different continents in a span of 1500 years, given by revelation of God and it has nothing but the truth of what happened in it.

I'll go with that rather than some man who makes claims that will only scratch people's ears.

  • @malikzzzzz ::: Bible scholar Bart Ehrman would not agree with you that it is a revelation of God. "The truth of what happened"? The bible is contradictory and contains errors. How do we know for sure 'what happened'?

"Scratch peoples ears"?? Pearson lost everything of physical value by following his highest light. His revelation makes a lot more sense than God sending someone to an eternal torture chamber.

  • Paul Washer wins!!!!

  • @14atvs Yeah i strongly agree that Paul Washer wins..

    Paul Washer all the way!!

  • @357archangel It is not Paul Washer but Jesus who wins !

  • @kevinvalsonjacob No it's Paul..it's between PAUL and JOEL.

  • @357archangel :::Washer has an audience of 10000 people to hear him preach?

  • Why does Joel Osteen say that "we can be forgiven for our 'mistakes'"? Why doesn't he call it what it is? We need forgiveness for our sins. Why was he making it sound better than it is? If he has good intentions, I hope he knows that he is doing more harm not telling people who aren't saved about their sin, and the severity of it. The true "Good News" can only be good if they know about the bad news of their sin and God's judgmenet against it.

  • @HDell1994 ::: Joel addresses his sermons to Christians. He does not play the part of an evangelist, as you would have him to do. He is not doing any 'harm' whatever. He has his own message (not the one you want him to give) and is highly blessed of God in doing so. See Matthew 7:20

  • @k0smon So Osteen is preaching his own message, not the message of the Divine Word of God. Bart Ehrman, Carlton Pearson, it makes sense that you like Joel Osteen's "ministry." Don't mention Matt 7:20 if you don't even believe in Matt 7:13 and Matt 7:23 where Jesus clearly speaks about sinners and their punishment for living in sin. If you mention one part of Scripture, mention the other parts, where Jesus says to pick up your cross and deny yourself (which doesn't sound like the "Best Life").

  • @HDell1994 ::: Very poetic language, that 'pick up your cross and deny yourself'.' Just what does that translate to in terms of reality? Do you actually drag a cross around with you?

Every preacher preaches his 'own' message, otherwise it would be plagiarism. Every preacher gathers his material in his 'own' way, and presents that as he speaks. You call the bible the "Divine Word of God", but the gentlemen you mentioned don't agree with you, and I'll bet they are both more highly educated than u

  • @k0smon There are also many "highly educated" people that disagree with Bart Ehrman in case you didn't know. But I confess that I do think for myself far more than I should, and though you may take pride in your independent thinking, I think it is better for us to trust in the Lord with all of our hearts and lean not on our own understanding. I hope that God leads you away from this "higher light" of yours and reveals to you His true Light. I pray the best for you.

    With love,

    HDell1994

  • @HDell1994 ::: Bart Ehrman is one of the few to have the courage of his convictions to make known the conclusions that he came to. He is not the first to think that way and he will not be the last. Where will I find out about this Lord? From a book filled with contradiction and error? From a book that describes a perfect God as having human failure such as hatred and jealousy? And this same perfect God will send people to an eternal torture chamber? I want higher quality than that.

  • @HDell1994 ::: Obviously, you are not familiar with the operation of "higher light". It is something you want more of, not less. You need to grow in grace and understanding. "Higher light' leads you out of error into understanding.

  • @k0smon Yes, I'm not familiar with this false operation of yours, and I'm grateful for that. Like I stated before, I hope God shows you His true Light. God may not fit your own distorted views of what you "want" Him to be but He is still what the Bible describes Him as whether you can accept it or not. Anyways, this discussion is from a month ago, so if you will continue to believe what you believe then let's just agree to disagree, because I'd rather not waste both of our time.

  • I can see Joel as just a councelor and a motivational speaker, and honestly, i really don't know if God cares that he is 'preaching' about how to live

  • @silviapopa19 ::: What falsehoods does he teach?

  • Joel Osteen is gonna be in for a surprise on judgement day =(

  • 6 people are followers of Joel Osteen.

  • Does anybody know a link to which sermon this is from?

  • @hellofireengine Paul Washer's sermon is called "The Greatest Words In All Of Scripture." The Chanel's name is LaneCh

  • John the Baptist is recognized by Jesus as the greatest evangelist the world has ever had, and his message was of repentance. Which of these two is more like John the Baptist? You make your own decision.

  • Read John 8:1-11. Jesus said "Woman where are they,? Has no one condemned you?" " No one, sir". "THEN NEITHER DO I CONDEMN YOU" Jesus declared, "Go and LEAVE your life of sin. This was an act of love. How many times we become angry when we see injustice. We all want justice except when it comes to our own sins. I do believe Paul Washer is no angel..Jesus principles of saving souls, healing the sick and many more was done with love and compassion.!! Romans

  • @josefina7400 Yeah but how is osteen's preaching preparing us for that day? if your kid is about to run in front of a car your going to yell and scream at him to get out of the way. Well most people even church members are on a path to hell and Paul Washer is doing all in his power to warn them to get off that path. I praise God that He has raised up men more concerned with the destiny of people than the praise of other men

  • I agree with both of them...

  • Why does Paul Washer says he is a prophet and yet he is so aggressive in the way he speaks. Only God can read what is in human's heart...even if Paul Washer is speaking the truth I don't think this is the right attitude of someone who is used by God to deliver His message...I love the Lord, I believe in the second coming of Christ. Joel Osteen , Paul Washer or anyone, we will all be standing alone infront of God and will be judged according to what we know and believe in

  • @josefina7400 First of all I have never heard him say he is a prophet, He referenced the word prophet in this excerpt not state that he is a prophet. And you call Paul Washer aggressive? Let me tell you something..... THE WORD OF GOD IS PREACHED WITH AUTHORITY!!!!!!! Their is no sugar coating here..... Its a very bloody and sacrificial Gospel..... not a glamourized one!!!!
