@staphinfection erm a beacon is something that is designed to attract attention so when it comes to protoss fleets, it should be apparent and obvious that a fleet beacon is something that is necessary to guide a ship to a particular planet, makes perfect sense. I agree however, bacon sounds cool and I actually started calling it that before husky did, obviously cant prove that but there you go.
