i knew i didn't dream it, none of my friends remember this show and now i can prove i didn't make it up. if my memory serves me corecctly i believe that one of the prizes was a tub of hair gel. can anyone confirm?

Captain Zep was great in a very peculiar way. I think the fact that it was horribly low-budget and that the cardboard aliens had bizarre Radiophonic voices made it all the more alarming.

I'm sure there was a badge that was the prize in this series-which i wanted desperately as a kid-how naff! And the aliens were all just drawings-very low budget stuff-how times have changed-how old do i feel!

There was something about it that made it compulsive viewing, despite it's cheapness. Actually, I think I quite liked the cardboard aliens.
