@IloveBryant12 This was one of my favorite songs from their debut album. My ultimate fave from this album was "suddenly" (track 03) It's like being in a different universe when I hear that song. It's wonderful. This song "I believe in God" was played frequently at a christian dance club I used to go to. That too was a wonderful escape for me. I don't care what the haters said about Zoe Girl. the group did wonderful music.

@nguapi it was actually released about 10 years ago. I bought the album when I was 15 and I am 25 now. But It's a great album. I bought their album after I saw them in concert.
So many contemporary Christian songs are very bland. Many have a generic "pretty" background music while someone vocalizes an overused form of "God is wonderful yadda yadda yadda..." I used to listen to a lot of Christian music but it bored me because so much of it sounds the same.
This song is one of the notable exceptions. It's very uplifting. There's just something very hopeful and refreshing in the music that can speak to everyone, even for a possible listener who doesn't believe.
I was saying that there are many Christian songs that just don't touch me but this one is refreshing. Some people are touched by any song for Christ they hear but others need to be touched by that certain song that touches them personally. This one speaks to me and has the power to speak to people in many different walks of life.

You know what I love about God? His touch is spiritual. His love is a love so pure it stirs the soul. What he says comes to us in whatever way we need them to. Something else I love is no matter how hard it is to believe in him, no matter how many times I doubt him he always accepts me back. Life is hard. And God being a spiritual God doesn't give us physical evidence of his being. Faith is faith because we are to believe in him despite the lack of evidence. God really is amazing.

@IloveBryant12 This was one of my favorite songs from their debut album. My ultimate fave from this album was "suddenly" (track 03) It's like being in a different universe when I hear that song. It's wonderful. This song "I believe in God" was played frequently at a christian dance club I used to go to. That too was a wonderful escape for me. I don't care what the haters said about Zoe Girl. the group did wonderful music.

Just everyday people like you and I. Because of this I know that it isn't that accurate. When I was little I use to make up stories to explain things to my sister. I'd find evidence enough to convince her I was right and that was all it took. I wasn't right though, a good majority of the time.

So many contemporary Christian songs are very bland. Many have a generic "pretty" background music while someone vocalizes an overused form of "God is wonderful yadda yadda yadda..." I used to listen to a lot of Christian music but it bored me because so much of it sounds the same.
This song is one of the notable exceptions. It's very uplifting. There's just something very hopeful and refreshing in the music that can speak to everyone, even for a possible listener who doesn't believe.

Some people are touched by any song for Christ they hear but others need to be touched by that certain song that touches them personally. This one speaks to me and has the power to speak to people in many different walks of life.
