Okay, I know I'm going to get flamed for this... but why is he grumbling/growling like that? It's barely discernible, the chorus is ok... somewhat... although I do have to admit the background music/guitar sounds pretty epic!

@babyangel931 Its death metal, that's how the vocals are in this genre. And for the record his vocals are considerably clearer and easier to understand than a vast majority of other death metal vocalists.

@babyangel931 Well, Novembers Doom IS death/doom metal... So the guttural, growling vocals are some of the death. As for the clean vocals, that's some haunting doom singing there, my friend. ;D

We have considered that, funnily enough. We almost put a "hidden track" on this newest cd that was a really brutal DM tune, but in the end we decided not to. But maybe someday when the time is right....

Earlier this year Opeth became my favorite band but for the most part I wasn't a big fan of most death growls (and I thought it was pretty lame that I didn't love my favorite band's genre)
