one thing that most people dont make much mention of is "observation" or accute froms of it, I am not extraodenarly good at it (though Derren probly is), but I one did a simmilar thing to this random lass in my class, she and half the class wore astonished, just look for the small things, a dog hair, a scar, a limp, a stain, everything put together in a whole makes the picture

Derren has a photographic memory - he explained it in a film about books and memory (library). He remember where someone sits, then form the tones of the voice and emotions he "reads" needs, desires etc. Then he throws a simple questions to find out something about this person and then gives them the ideas to reach for. Everything he does is explained by himself on YT. Check it.

Really this is the best I've ever seen. But not just a little better, this is amazing. I have seen poor, but never knew it. Fucking hell, he is spot on. I have seen Char mumbeling vagueness and guessing first letters in order to 'get' a name.
