I own a MA series 100watt head with the matching cab...Sounds fantastic....would be better with celestions but still worth every cent..i play a ibanez prestige...Lespaul Classic, and a Epi Les paul studio, a Fender Deluxe, and an old Charvel...this amp delivers....I love it

lol in this demo they use 1960's cabs, instead of the specially designed m412 cabs, i guess that 1960 are better.

The MG amps are not discontinued. There is a new series (MG4) and they are getting rave reviews. The older versions are being discounted as discontinued. The MA's are all valve, very nice. A comparable MA would be at least 50% more expensive. Check out Guitar World and Guitar Player's reviews on the MG4 amps.

made in vietnam...I think they may phase out the MGs. Most guitar shops are disoucnting the hell out of them.

sounds good. I cannot find anywhere what type of speakers these have. I wonder how it would sound thru a nice pair of vintage 30s.

I'll buy one.Personally I like the tone...especialy considering the price here in europe.I like this one more than the JVM.Sure it doesn't have a sh*t load of buttons for versatility but this amp rocks.Especially if you're in to Marshall tone...

spent few hours on marshall site... they don't have decent UK made low watage amp except class 5 which is not what i'm looking for. why you guys at marshall just don't reissue jcm 800 2205 or silver jubilee in combo versions? you have prooved designs, why bothering with all this haze/ma stuff or jvm computers ?
