@blackfire1961 just use pelicans to transport troops and use cyro bomb,carpet bomb, and Mac blasts only on the scarabs and you'll be just fine.

Yeah I know about Project ORION, later called Spartan I, but you can't say that he's a Real Spartan. He was immune to Flood, but he wasn't a walking tank like the Spartan II's & III's with their heavy armor and all. But that didn't stop him to be a badass. Peace!

the only scarab you can control in the story is the super scarib and its only on one lvl

u can get out scarabs in skirmish mode when you play as the covenant (takes 20 population and 3000 rescources)

@1997arbiter there is only 1 scarab in the whole game you can spartan jack and its the one on beach head that the flood hold and the covenant have abondoned so kill the flood holding it but dont kill the scarab select a spartan and press the special ability and he will jack the scarab but it only works on that scarab and you get an acheivment for it
