crested gecko tail drop please help!

what about pet crested geckos shedding like my male crested gecko when he shed coz i kinda think they look cuter without a tail but the pimple at the back of them looks gross

crested gecko tail dont grow back but other kind of gecko thier tail gros back ...crestie dont need med if they loose thier tell

ok dont freak out it just means he/she lost its tail because it was threatend or scared, 2 days ago my gecko got out of its tank and wen we walk in the house his tail was on the ground and we couldent find my gecko and my 4 cats werent helping and my girl was still in the tank we found my bros gecko under his bed just give your gecko some time and he/she will be fine

If a crested geckos tail comes off it never grows back (even when it does it is just a tiny stub) but the gecko will live and you should not touch him 4 a week or so.

Gecko don't drop their tail on purpose u must have pulled or damaged it but it will be ok cause its natural but unlike the leopard gecko it will not regenerate and will look like a gecko with a stump on the tail.

Crested geckos tails won't grow back but they can grow back like an inch and it looks rather like a stinger but ya just be more careful when u handle it because if it jumps and misses ur hand it has no tail so it could hurt itself good luck :)

alyssagirl123456 Last night, my 3 yr old leopard lost it tail. Than died this morning, But Anyways. You do not need no meds, Just clean out the tank and fresh paper towels. Change the paper towels round once a week. The tail CAN grow back, but not all leo tail's does. And if yur leoo tail does grow back, it wont be the same. You can tell where it fell off at. So dont worry. i look this up last night. Some say the tail will grow back. Some say the tail wont grow back.

@kyleray1234 im thnx yea i know now what to do he has been fine with out one for a couple months now and this is a crested gecko not a leopard gecko crested geckos cant grow there tail back but leos can grow theres back:)

@alyssagirl123456 Btw crested geckos at a certain age drop there tails,This may have been from natural cause or from being frightened

yeah, that happens to like 90% of wild crested geckos, if u c any they will prob not have a tail, but yeah, he will be fine, no meds, no nothing, just dont touch him mouch for a week or so, but the sad thing is.... it wont grow back like a leos :(

He'll be fine. Just keep him well fed. When a lizard loses its tail, it needs extra special care. Let him stay calm and don't try to handle him much. Make sure that your feeding him gut-loaded food items as well as dusting them with calcium powder.
